Vice President Kamala Harris’ failed campaign is reportedly embroiled in a scandal involving $20 million in debt.
On Wednesday, Christopher Cadelago of Politico reported via Twitter/X that, despite having as much as $118 million on hand as of Oct. 16th, Harris’ campaign ended the election with $20 million in debt.
And this despite Harris having raised over $1 billion.

Kamala Harris’s campaign ended with at least $20 million in debt, per two sources familiar. Harris raised over $1 billion and had $118 million in the bank as of Oct. 16.

A Harris staffer later confirmed to Breitbart’s Matthew Boyle that these numbers are correct, adding that Campaign Chair Jen O’Malley Dillon “blew through a billion dollars in a few months.”
How? By wasting oodles of money hosting lavish concerts with Harris’ wealthy celebrity allies.
“Jen blew through a billion dollars in a few months, and it was all Jen’s idea to do all the concerts,” the campaign staffer said.
They added that Dillon pursued these “concerts” with the likes of Eminem, Katy Perry, Lizzo, and more at the expense of “prioritizing and spending money on social media and other campaign priorities.”
Meanwhile, the campaign still has bills to pay.
“Apparently a group in Georgia had to lay off 100 people because they couldn’t pay them,” Boyle reported on Twitter/X. “It’s unclear at this time if the campaign PAID the talent to perform but the cost of production for the events was ‘immense.'”
“What’s more, this Kamala campaign staffer said several people who were working for the Kamala Harris for President campaign are still awaiting several overdue payments they were promised for their work. IE, they didn’t pay the staff,” he added.
Ok so this just got very explosive. A Kamala campaign staffer who saw these posts called me just now and said there is a massive scandal here worthy of an audit.

Some staffers are now even blaming Dillon for Harris’ loss.
“People didn’t like working with her,” Boyle’s source said. “Many people on the campaign felt like we lost because Kamala wasn’t allowed to run her campaign. They were running Joe Biden’s campaign instead of a Kamala campaign.”
The source added that Dillon was “obnoxious and very much a gatekeeper and [kept] interfering with the vice president’s people who were trying to do their job.”
The money situation is so bad that deputy campaign manager Rob Flaherty “is currently shopping around the Kamala fundraising email list to anyone who wants it to try to raise the money back,” according to Boyle.
Responding to Boyle’s reporting, critics were quick to note how lucky America is that Harris didn’t win the election.

Looks like we dodged a bullet if she couldn’t manage a budget.

See? How could she have run a country, when you couldn’t even budget a 3-month campaign?

Now imagine what would have happened if Harris was responsible for the country’s taxpayers money

Well that puts the icing on the cake. Just imagine what she would have done to this country. I hope all her diddy good buddies checks bounce.

Boyle’s reporting follows another bombshell report about how pro-Harris PACs spent nearly half a billion dollars in October in one desperate, last-minute bid to beat President-elect Donald Trump.
“Outside groups spent $442.7 million on independent expenditures designed either to support Vice President Kamala Harris or to oppose Trump between Oct. 5 and Nov. 5, Federal Election Commission (FEC) records show,” according to The Daily Caller.
Remember, this money is separate from what the Harris campaign itself spent. Considering the total money that was spent on boosting her, you’d think she would have won, right? And that was indeed the fear prior to Election Day.
“Money can’t buy you love, but it can influence the outcome of an election,” National Republican Senatorial Committee Executive Director Jason Thielman warned over the summer.
