‘F–k off!’ Marjorie Taylor Greene shuts down BBC reporter trying to goad her

U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene put a quick end to a British reporter’s attempt to goad her into a juicy soundbite, telling her directly to “f–k off” on Tuesday.

The Georgia Republican began her friendly response to questions from the U.K.’s Emily Maitlis at former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida on Super Tuesday. But when Maitlis pressed her about conspiracy theories and “Jewish space lasers,” Greene ended the exchange which social media users agreed was an attempt to “antagonize, not interview.”

The back and forth began when the host of The News Agents podcast asked Greene about Republican presidential hopeful Nikki Haley.

“We’ve been encouraging her to drop out and support President Trump and I think tonight is the clear message that President Trump is the clear front runner,” Greene said. “He’s the winner in our Republican primary and it’s time for Nikki Haley to drop out and support him.”

Maitlis then asked the GOP congresswoman if she would like to be on Trump’s list of potential vice presidents.

“Oh, you know, that’s the question everyone asks. And no, I don’t think Nikki Haley should be on the list, but of course, President Trump will choose who he wants for VP,” she replied.

“Would you like to be on that list?” Maitlis pressed.

“He’s got a long list,” Greene laughed. “I support President Trump in any way, any way he’d ask me, but I can assure you it won’t be Nikki Haley.”

At this point, the former BBC Two news anchor shifted the line of questioning, asking Greene why “so many people who support Donald Trump love conspiracy theories, including yourself.”

“He seems to attract lots of conspiracy theorists,” Maitlis asserted.

“Well, let me tell you, you’re a conspiracy theorist, and the left and the media spread more conspiracy theories,” Greene fired back.

“We like the truth. We like supporting our constitution, our freedoms, and America First,” she added as she began to walk away.

But Maitlis was still after more, continuing on to ask Greene, “What about Jewish space lasers? Tell us about Jewish space lasers.”

The reporter was referring to Greene’s since-deleted social media post from 2018 in which she questioned whether Jewish people had anything to do with an electrical grid that sparked a California wildfire.

“No,” Greene responded before unloading on Maitlis.

“Why don’t you go talk about Jewish space lasers and really why don’t you f–k off? How about that?” she said as she walked away.

Maitlis found plenty of praise from the left after posting the video clip to the News Agents account.

But social media users applauded Greene’s fiery takedown of Maitlis and her “no BS attitude.”
