‘F–king livid’: Popular Jimmy Kimmel sidekick seen outside studio after show canned

Jimmy Kimmel’s popular sidekick, Guillermo Rodriguez, was spotted behind the show’s studio in the moments after ABC pulled the plug on the left-wing comedian’s late-night show.

That’s according to photos obtained by the New York Post, which reported that Rodriguez was seen “looking downcast” after ABC suspended “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” — citing insiders, the newspaper said Kimmel was “absolutely f–king livid” over the decision.

Rodriguez, clad in a t-shirt and sneakers, can be seen in the video below staring at his phone before getting into his car and driving away with the windows rolled up.

ABC announced earlier this week that it would take Kimmel’s late-night show off the air indefinitely, after the reliable left-wing mouthpiece lied about the alleged Charlie Kirk assassin, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, being part of the “MAGA gang.” The false narrative was widely adopted, even though the left-wing gunman was in a gay relationship with a man who was reportedly transitioning into a woman.

“We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” Kimmel told his audience.

Rodriguez began working on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” in 2003 as a parking lot security guard. His big break came when he was caught taking a nap on the job — he was reportedly working three jobs at the time.

“When I got this job, I was in the parking lot and I was sleeping in [Dicky Barnett’s] car, the announcer,” Rodriguez told People Magazine in 2021. “He opened the door, he goes, ‘What are you doing here?’ I go, ‘I’m trying to sleep — I’m so sorry!’”

As for Kimmel, President Donald Trump said the reliable left-wing mouthpiece was “fired because he had bad ratings more than anything else, and he said a horrible thing about a great gentleman known as Charlie Kirk.”

“You can call that free speech or not, he was fired for lack of talent,” Trump said.
