Iconic cover model Fabio believes the world is “upside down” especially in the area of masculinity where he believes current trends are a load of “hogwash.”
The 64-year-old legendary, long-haired model who once embodied the masculine, swoon-worthy subject of countless romance novels, is not sold on the current state of society and its view on testosterone.
Speaking on “Cavuto: Coast to Coast” on Tuesday, the Italian-American whose full name is Fabio Lanzoni, told host Neil Cavuto that the current trend of men in romance novels being soft is “hogwash.”
“Today, it’s almost like they don’t like men to have testosterone… Of course, in times of war, who are you going to rely to [sic]? Soldiers, they have to have testosterone. And I mean, it’s like these people, Hamas, they have plenty of testosterone, and the people are taking their side,” Fabio said, adding “The world is upside down right now.”
“Are you saying that some of the modern romance characters, that the men are wusses?” Cavuto asked.
“Yeah, hogwash,” Fabio replied. “It’s just a trend. They’re going to be in and out. That’s the reality.”
Cavuto asked what his advice would be “for the modern Fabios out there,” prompting the actor and author to simply suggest: “Be yourself and don’t drink soy milk.”
“Men and women, they’re different. Men have to have testosterone. And especially, in cases of war,…who do you think is going to save you? The metrosexual guy in the city or somebody who has testosterone, [who] is in the army?” he added.
“I’m telling you, it’s like the world right now is upside down,” reiterated the 6′ 3″ model who graced the cover of hundreds of romance novels.
In a recent interview with the New York Post on the topic of masculinity, Fabio contended that “the political far left and the Biden administration” have been pushing the “progressive woke movement” behind the change in the view of men.
“In life, there are trends, and this is nothing more than a trend. It’s ridiculous, like all the rest of the woke movement,” he said.
“I talk to many people, I talk to many women and the women say, ‘We can’t find real men anymore,’ and they say, ‘We want a real man, not a metrosexual,’ so what they say is happening in the new romance novels is detached from reality. It’s La-La Land,” he added.
“This is just a trend and masculinity in those books is eventually going to come back,” he told the Post.
Earlier in his conversation with Cavuto, Fabio blasted the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel and called out the Hollywood left for not speaking up about the atrocities committed in the opening hours of the conflict last month.

“You’ve been particularly critical of this antisemitism wave that’s raged out of Hollywood, not doing more to speak out against it in fact pushing it. Explain why that really ticks you off,” Cavuto said.
“Israel is just trying to defend itself. If anything would have happened in the United States like it happened on Oct. 7, the United States would have nuked the border country,” he said, calling out Hollywood for silence because they are “sheep” and “just follow the trends.”
