Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis told a reporter from CNN that former President Trump will not get a break from her after being asked if he could serve time in prison.

She flatly vowed that if Trump is convicted of racketeering in Georgia in connection to the 2020 presidential election, he will find himself behind bars, former president or not.

Over a dozen co-defendants join Trump in facing charges of conspiring to overturn the 2020 presidential election in Georgia and it does not look good for them in that state. The former president was indicted earlier in the year and leftists took great pleasure in taking his mugshot in Fulton County Jail. Trump has gone on to capitalize off that move, big time.

In an interview with CNN’s Nick Valencia during a “Shaq-a-Thon” charity event in Atlanta, Willis took the opportunity to talk tough against Trump when she was asked if he would go to prison if convicted in Georgia. The leftist district attorney made it clear she can’t wait to recommend the harshest sentencing she can get away with when it comes to Trump, asserting that “no one gets a special break.”

“I know that in the media, and even in the world, we like instant gratification. The judicial process is a long process, and so we’ll be here with that case for a while,” Willis told the salivating reporter.

“When I get asked that I’m covering the story, many people say, you know, the former president has already gone to jail. Will he see prison time? What do you think about that?” Valencia asked the district attorney.

That teed up Willis to take a not-so-subtle jab at Trump.

“I think that everyone in society is the same, and I don’t know why that’s such a difficult concept for people. You can look at the charges, and based on those charges, we’ll be recommending appropriate sentences. No one gets a special break because of their status,” she stated.

Willis did not give a specific timeline for the case.

She recently addressed rumors that the Georgia case would be delayed because of Trump’s current presidential campaign, calling them a “silly notion,” according to The Messenger.

The outlet also pointed out that Willis gave a similar response to Republicans who are attacking her for her biased prosecution of Trump. She accused them of being worried “the hero is treated the same as everybody else.”

Trump is facing four separate criminal indictments in four separate jurisdictions. He is facing 13 felony charges in Georgia alone. The left has thrown everything including the kitchen sink at the former president hoping something will stick.

The district attorney has proposed an August 5, 2024, trial date for the former president and the other 14 co-defendants. Trump has defiantly pleaded not guilty to all charges. Willis and her team are using plea deals to pressure co-defendants to turn on Trump in exchange for lighter sentences.

Leftists contend that if Trump is convicted of racketeering in Georgia, he will spend the rest of his life in prison and they are hoping upon hope it takes him out of the political picture permanently. That definitely remains to be seen.
