Talk about what a difference a year can make, conservative commentator Benny Johnson shared a clip from Charlamagne Tha God, who has had his fill of the authoritarian posture coming from the Biden administration to call for the return of Donald Trump.

“What is going to be the boogeyman? Who is going to be the boogeyman?” Charlamagne asked. “We’re not scared of dictatorship. We’re not scared of authoritarian rule. We’re not scared of minority rule. We are not! I’m hearing it.”

“I’m listening to people be like, man, where is Trump?” Charlamagne said. “Get this motherf*cker out here. I’m serious. [Democrats] feel like they would rather get it wrong. Like, you know what, at least we know where that motherf*cker stands. These motherf*ckers are gassing us up, lying to us, promising us sh*t and didn’t deliver.”

Taking exception to Democrats campaigning on the claim that democracy is under threat, he said they govern like democracy depends on it.

“For real,” he said. “Stop telling me that the death of democracy is upon us but you’re not governing like it is. Like Joe Biden gave that speech this week, he’s calling out all Republicans. ‘I’m tired of being quiet.’ You’re tired of being quiet but you’re still being quiet about all the Democrats who are blocking your agenda. You’re being quiet about the Manchins and Sinemas and Kellys who don’t want to get rid of the filibuster so you can pass voting rights. Why are you not calling them out?”

This being a reference to Sens. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., Kyrsten Sinema, D-Ariz., and Mark Kelly, D-Ariz., of course.

“You know what else I don’t like? I don’t like people in power acting like they don’t have power. That’s the other reason people like the Trumps of the world,” Charlamagne said. “I don’t know who the boss is. We don’t like weakness. Democrats look weak. It’s like control your hoes. If you the pimp, control your hoes.”

“Holy crap. That was Charlamagne Tha God saying I wish Trump was back because at least with Trump we know what we were getting, and that’s true,” Johnson said, after playing the clip on his podcast, “The Benny Show.”

He noted that Charlamagne is one of the most popular podcasters in the world and someone with he has one of the more “an important role in the Democratic Party” because of his huge audience.

“So this guy is sitting there saying I want Trump back and that Democrats are just lying to us. The best parts about this kind of commentary from Charlamagne Tha God is that it’s consistent with the way that he actually interviews these people,” Johnson said, adding that he doesn’t agree with Charlamagne much on politics.

“But I do know this – this dude is the best interviewer perhaps in all media, this side of maybe Tucker Carlson,” he said. “This guy is the most honest and most savage arbiter of truth and that is the best that you can really ask for right now. You want people who seek truth and Charlamagne Tha God seeks truth.”

Recall that Biden was interviewed by Charlamagne when running for president, which is when the Democrat infamously stated, “Well I tell you what, if you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black.”

“It doesn’t have nothing to do with Trump. It has to do with the fact, I want something for my community,” Charlamagne shot back.

Johnson also dropped a bomb in response to Supreme Court Justice Steven Breyer announcing his retirement and the ensuing talk about President Joe Biden’s vow to limit Breyer’s replacement to black women only. In today’s throwaway society, few seem to recall Biden’s pivotal role in the character assassination attempt on Justice Clarence Thomas in 1991.

Biden’s “vicious conduct as a Democratic senator from Delaware” in the confirmation hearing for Thomas “is a permanent stain on the Senate’s reputation,” Mark Paoletta, who served as chief counsel and assistant to Vice President Mike Pence. wrote in Oct. 2020.

“Hate to break it to you but the only black person serving on the Supreme Court today was personally attacked, defamed and slandered by Joe Biden before he voted AGAINST him,” Johnson said in a stinging tweet.
