Government workers whining about an email that asked for a little information about job performance aren’t garnering much sympathy on X.
In an MSNBC clip, a woman told her dramatic story of receiving the dreaded email directed by Elon Musk on Saturday night. She claimed she was working when she received it because she had been so “distracted” the previous week and claimed she was catching up.
The email asking to bullet point five things she had done last week while on the job, seemingly put this woman over the edge.
“It’s very hard to keep your train of thought when you’re getting threatened and harassed like that,” she said.
No, really. Watch here:
Federal worker suggests she didn’t get much done last week because she was “distracted” before whining about how distracting it was to explain in 5 bullet points what she did last week.
These people really aren’t doing anything and now they’re admitting it.

X users had a field day with the irony, hyperbole and all-around ridiculousness of her comments:
“Dear Elon Musk, I didn’t get anything done last week, because I was distracted by the email asking what I accomplished last week. Hope this clears things up, and I look forward to my long future of employment.” pic.twitter.com/dSqpzqSZ0i

“Emails I receive on the job asking me about my job are traumatizing.”

Federal Employees: “It’s very hard to focus on your job when you’re getting threatened and harassed…”
Also Federal Employees: *relentlessly threatened, harassed, and violated American citizens’ rights at the behest of Joe Biden & Democrats for the last 4+ years*
Irony abounds.

Federal workers couldn’t last a week in the corporate world, let alone a trade job. They better get a backbone before applying to their next gig…

Imagine getting paid with taxpayer dollars to be ‘too distracted’ to work—then being more distracted by having to explain why you didn’t work. Bureaucracy at its finest. No wonder the government is so efficient!

It’s a miracle the country hadn’t already imploded.

If you are so distracted at work that you could do nothing all week long, that’s a problem.
That was the reason for the email in the first place, to weed people like her out.

Fire her! If you can’t handle writing 5-bullet points explaining what you did over a whole week then you’re clearly unqualified to be answering any emails.
