Fetterman calls out fellow Dems for being ‘toxic,’ says winning back white men unlikely

John Fetterman continued to score points with everyday Americans for appearing to be one of the few Democrat lawmakers with a modicum of common sense, or perhaps it’s just his brand of political strategy?

The Philadelphia lawmaker appeared on the ‘Somebody’s Gotta Win’ podcast and laid down some brutal truths when asked about his party being viewed as “toxic.”

“Even people inside the party acknowledge that,” the host said.

Fetterman didn’t hold back, nor disappoint with his response.

“I think their primary currency was shaming and scolding and talking down to people and telling them, hey, I know better than you, or you’re dopes, or you’re a bro or you’re ignorant, how can you be this dumb?” Fetterman said. “They’re they’re fascists. How can you vote for that? And, you know, when you’re in a state like Pennsylvania, like, I know, and I love people that voted for Trump, and they’re not fascist.”

Fetterman continued to call out the Democrat Party for being “extreme”, saying it’s a losing strategy.

When asked about the Dems winning back “white men,” Fetterman appeared again to be brutally honest.

“I don’t know, and truthfully, I’m not sure. I’m not sure if that’s possible, to be honest,” Fetterman said.

“Men are to blame or their, their masculinity is toxic. Or if you unless you’re able to conform to our very strict kinds of definition of what we think is appropriate. Well, then I’m just I’m going to find an alternative. And they, they’ve done that.”

“The party that calls Americans stupid cannot figure out why the American public will not vote for them.”

It’s a party that coddles extremists like Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett who just recently slammed President Trump’s executive order that protects women in women’s sports. The “Keeping Men out of Women’s Act” has shown to be resoundingly supported by the majority of Americans, but lawmakers like Crockett refuse to compromise and seem willing to bring down the entire party.

Fetterman’s refreshing take earned some accolades on X:

The celebration over Fetterman’s comments about the Democrat Party was cut short however, when he revealed he would be voting “no” on Cabinet nominees Tulsi Gabbard and RFK Jr (a Democrat!):

RFK’s vice-presidential running mate Nicole Shanahan slammed Fetterman and called him out for “toying” with the “ideal of being a strong American man” and not putting the nation’s health as a top priority.
