Financial report discloses how much Kamala donated to anti-police, pro-sanctuary city group

Democrat nominee Kamala Harris may be glossing over her resume now that she’s running for the presidency but no amount of media whitewash will cover up her radical past.

The veep and her husband Doug Emhoff donated money to a Washington, D.C. nonprofit group that advocated for anti-cop policies at a time when violent crime was consuming the nation’s capital during violent race riots after the death of George Floyd in 2020.

According to Fox News which cited White House financial disclosures, the couple “repeatedly donated” to Legal Aid DC, an organization that provides free legal aid to the poor but has also advocated for cutting police budgets and fewer police patrols in areas plagued by high crime.

“We are concerned, especially given the ongoing protest movement, about any solution that involves more police and policing in DC public housing. #BlackLivesMatterDC,” the group tweeted in June 2020, responding to an article about the D.C. attorney general who was suing the Housing Authority over the failure to respond to violent crime at 10 properties.

The post to Twitter, since rebranded as X, came days after the career criminal and drug addict died while resisting arrest in Minneapolis, setting off a summer of mayhem that shook the nation to its core.

In another post days later, the group joined calls protesting a budget increase proposal for the city’s Metropolitan Police Department.”Legal Aid joins the call to reduce funding for police and re-invest in communities,” the nonprofit wrote.

Legal Aid DC has supported making D.C. into a permanent “sanctuary city” for illegal aliens at a time when Biden’s border bloodbath has flooded the U.S. with violent criminals.

The disclosure documents were uncovered by the Washington Examiner which reported that the group “received a $1,000 donation from Harris and Emhoff in 2023, according to a copy of their joint tax return. In 2021, the couple also directed $1,000 to Legal Aid DC.”

News of the donations comes as Harris has gone into chameleon mode as a part of a mass propaganda campaign to portray her as a moderate after the Democrat elite stole the nomination away from President Joe Biden.

But despite the media makeover, Harris is facing renewed scrutiny over her fueling of the fire during the George Floyd “Summer of Love” after she picked Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz to be her running mate, a man who allowed protests to become violent riots that destroyed parts of the largest city in his state.

At the time, she urged people to donate to a Minnesota progressive organization to bail rioters out of jail to get them quickly back out and onto the streets.

“So in 2023, the same year Washington, D.C.’s mayor had to declare a state of emergency regarding youth crime, Kamala donated to a group committed to defunding the police,” former NYPD inspector Paul Mauro said, according to Fox News.

“The result of this can be seen in the sweeping crime reform bill our capital city had to pass recently in order to counteract naive, destructive agendas from public servants who behave more like campus activists. This from a prosecutor? No wonder our cities look like they do,” he added.

In a statement to the Washington Examiner, White House spox Andrew Bates defended the donations, saying that the group “helps clients who are suffering from domestic violence.”
