Finger-wagging NY AG Letitia James rages about ‘unelected’ Elon Musk

New York Attorney General Letitia James, who has established herself as the Democratic Party’s lawfare queen, raged at Elon Musk after she and the top prosecutors in 19 Democrat-controlled states sued to block the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) from auditing fraud and waste.

Faced with having no political recourse against the dismantling of the minority party’s money laundering machine, Democrats have turned to the courts where their activist judges will now be on the front lines of the resistance to Trump and Musk, who has been the target of an increasingly nasty demonization campaign.

James assailed the billionaire Tesla/SpaceX CEO at a Friday press conference in Manhattan where she was joined by her blue state counterpart, Connecticut AG William Tong, one of the other 18 attorneys general who are seeking to prevent DOGE from scrutinizing the U.S. Treasury’s data and payment systems, a potential motherlode of evidence of Democrat racketeering.

“Peekaboo” ranted and wagged her finger about Musk, an emotional outpouring that comes after the Trump Justice Department sued her and New York Governor Kathy Hochul for defying the new administration’s tough new enforcement actions against illegal aliens.

“It is unacceptable, unconstitutional, ultra-biased,” James exclaimed. “They have exceeded their authority, and so it’s important that attorneys general representing our respective states stand up and enforce the rule of law because Elon Musk, individuals at the Treasury and the president of these United States is not above the law.”

“And we will continue,” she vowed. “You know as attorneys general we have been preparing for this, this is not the outcome that she wanted,” admitting that the Democrat AGs – many backed by billionaire bloodsucker George Soros – are determined to nullify the will of the American people by abusing the court system.

“In addition to the lawsuit announced by U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, tens of millions of dollars of federal aid have been cut off, including $59 million for putting up illegal aliens in a ritzy hotel that was clawed back by DHS Director Kristi Noem.

Some X users found it to be poetic justice that James now finds herself on the receiving end of the law after her persecution of Trump.

“As the richest man in the world, Elon Musk is not used to being told ‘no,’ but in our country, no one is above the law,” James said in a recent press release. “President Trump does not have the power to give away Americans’ private information to anyone he chooses, and he cannot cut federal payments approved by Congress. Musk and DOGE have no authority to access Americans’ private information and some of our country’s most sensitive data. I am taking action to keep our information secure, and to prevent any unconstitutional freeze on essential funding that Americans rely on every day.”

Democrats are set to unleash a biblical plague of lawsuits against Trump, Musk and DOGE but all are in bad faith and will only further erode public credibility in the judicial system until, at some point, the Supreme Court is forced to intervene.
