Florida sheriff justifies high cost of deporting illegal aliens: ‘Doing stupid sh*t has a price tag’

Florida has some of the most based sheriffs in the entire country and one of the Sunshine State’s top elected law enforcement officials put on a clinic on how to deal with the whining leftist jackals in the fake news media.

During a Friday news conference on the crackdown on illicit gambling operations, Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey brilliantly swatted down an activist reporter who tried to hijack the discussion with a question about the money spent on the detention and deportation of illegal aliens who were let into the country during the Biden administration.

“Doing stupid sh*t has a price tag and the previous administration allowed them to come into our country by the millions,” Ivey explained. “And so, there’s gonna be a price tag for getting them out of the country.”

“The price tag of law enforcement having to do the work that never should have had to be done because if we’d had a secure border we’d have never had this problem,” the sheriff continued. “The price tag of flying them out of the country, the price tag of maintaining them in prisons and everything else.”

“So, when we start looking at why are we having to pay this money, that price tag is associated with those who let them come across the border illegally, and now Florida citizens and the country are having to pay the price for stupid stuff,” Ivey pointed out.

Ivey added, “Our federal government’s been great at reimbursing us. Our state’s been great at reimbursing us and our citizens here in Brevard county – and I’m sure I speak for all of the sheriffs – love the fact that we’re enforcing the law and there is no price for freedom.”

On the topic of busting up the illegal gambling dens, Sheriff Ivey made it clear that Florida means business.

“I have people that tell me their parents, their grandparents are going into these places and losing all their money, their life’s savings and everything else because they’re being led to believe that there’s a bright hope at the end of this,” he explained. “Well there’s not.”

“We are going in the state of Florida, we are gonna enforce the law,” Ivey said. “The rest of the states are scratching their head trying to figure out why their crime rates are through the roof, it’s because they turn a blind eye to certain crimes and don’t really focus on the other crimes.”

“In Florida, we will put your ass in jail for anything you do. If you spit on that sidewalk, we’re going to lock you up, especially here in Brevard County,” he vowed.
