Now that Tucker Carlson is out at Fox News, the propaganda campaign to smear him has begun after he was deprived of the national platform to defend himself from an onslaught of allegations, the first of which was thrown out by a former booker for his now-canceled show.
The day after the tenacious Carlson was unceremoniously ousted as the top dissenting voice to the regime on the airwaves, former Fox News producer Abby Grossberg appeared on MSNBC to lay out her claims about the hostile work environment and that Carlson was obsessed with pinning the blame for the so-called “insurrection” on January 6, 2021, on the FBI.
Grossberg, who is suing Fox News, laid out her litany of allegations against the former Fox News host to a delighted Nicolle Wallace on Tuesday’s edition of “Deadline: White House” during an extended interview that ran over 40 minutes.

“I was really, I found it difficult to cover the kind of stories that they wanted me to cover. I wasn’t expecting it. Maybe I should have. That’s what some people say,” Grossberg said, responding to a question about the different culture on Carlson’s show compared to that of Maria Bartiromo’s where she previously worked.
“But for example, right toward the end of my time there, when the January 6th tapes were coming out, Tucker was very set on finding an FBI person who was implanted in the crowd and spinning this conspiracy that they were ultimately the ones responsible for the Capitol attack, not Fox News, as they’re about to go into the Dominion trial, that it was really the FBI that set up this thing, not Fox telling the American people that the election was rigged and the voting machines did it,” Grossberg continued, portraying Carlson as a lone wolf.
“And when I went back to them and said, look, there’s no conspiracy theory here, I called this attorney that’s representing one of the Proud Boys, and he flat out told me on two occasions, ‘There is no conspiracy. Get away from this stuff. This is dangerous. Tell Tucker to stop. I’ll come on your show and represent my client. But I absolutely will walk off if he asks me this,” she said.
Grossberg also dished on a cache of 90 recordings that she’s sitting on, material that will likely figure prominently in both her lawsuit against Carlson and Fox as well as the one from voting machine company Smartmatic, which is suing the network for $2.7 billion on the basis of defamation, recordings that will almost certainly be selectively leaked to the media.

“I know from my experience that there were multiple recordings on my devices that never turned up, that Dominion says they didn’t have, I gave Fox my phones, I literally said take everything,” Grossberg said, insinuating that there was a coverup in the recently settled Dominion Voting Systems lawsuit.
“I don’t know why they didn’t find that,” she added. “I don’t know if that was recklessness or that was done purposely but I have to believe if it happened with me, it happened with other people, too.”
“I still have, I have several recordings that I’m still going through that we’ve recovered from all of the phones. There are 90 that we have,” she revealed.
Having a well-prepared Grossberg ready to be trotted out so soon after Fox busted a cap into Carlson has raised suspicions of some who smell something fishy.
“A source who is a former Fox News employee tells me Abby Grossberg never once met Tucker Carlson during her time as his booker,” tweeted Greg Price of the State Freedom Caucus Network. “She worked out of the Fox NYC office while Tucker spent all his time in his home studios in Maine and Florida.”
“That mysteriously goes unmentioned in this New York Times story,” he added, referring to a story on Grossberg that was published by the “newspaper of record” on the day of Carlson’s termination.

To some cynics, it may seem to be a little bit too convenient that Grossberg, like Christine Blasey Ford, was waiting in the wings to be used as a weapon against one of the greatest enemies of the Democratic Party who has now been stripped of the platform to mount a public defense against the unfolding slime and destroy the campaign that has been unleashed against him.
