Fmr. Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey picks the next US president: ‘He can and he will’

Co-founder and former CEO of Twitter Jack Dorsey endorsed Democrat Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. for president, predicting on Sunday that he “can and will” beat both former President Trump and Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) as well as President Joe Biden in the race.

Dorsey tweeted out a clip of RFK Jr. speaking with Fox News host Harris Faulker during an interview last week, contending that he can beat both Republican powerhouses in the presidential contest in 2024.

In the tweet, Dorsey wrote, “He can and will,” indicating his support for RFK Jr. The tweet has been viewed over five million times, according to Business Insider.

A Twitter user asked him whether that was “endorsing or just predicting,” and he replied, “Both.”

Another user stated, “Not a chance the DNC allows him to be nominated.”

Dorsey responded to that tweet with, “Even more reason.”

And yet another person stated, “Voice is an issue and he tends to over-index too much on tree hugging.”

Dorsey clapped back, “Voice is a super power and set him apart.”

The former Twitter CEO went on to call the DNC “irrelevant.”

The video with Faulker afforded RFK Jr. a chance to speak freely and candidly considering the heavy fire he has been taking from Democrats since he entered the race. Reportedly, the party won’t even allow him to debate Biden.

RFK Jr. claims his internal polling shows him “stronger against both the Republican candidates than Joe Biden.”

Following Twitter CEO Elon Musk allowing DeSantis to announce he was entering the presidential race on the social media platform, Kennedy has accepted an invitation to speak on Twitter Spaces about his candidacy.

The discussion titled “Reclaiming Democracy” is scheduled to take place at 2 pm ET Monday.

Kennedy, who is an outspoken COVID vaccine critic and an environmental lawyer, announced his 2024 presidential bid in April. It has caused quite a stir and his stance in the polls is evidently very concerning to Democrats. He hit the campaign trail this week for the first time since launching his candidacy for the Democratic presidential campaign.

RFK Jr. stands at 16% support in the latest Fox News national poll for the 2024 Democratic presidential nomination race. Biden stands at 62%. In a CNN poll released last week, Kennedy garnered 20% support with the president at 60%.

In his initial nearly two-hour speech, Kennedy hammered Trump over pandemic-era lockdowns, as well as eviscerating mainstream media and Big Tech, whom he accused of censorship.

“This is what happens when you censor somebody for 18 years,” Kennedy proclaimed in April. “I got a lot to talk about. They shouldn’t have shut me up for that long because now I’m really going to let loose on them for the next 18 months. They’re going to hear a lot from me.”

Users on Twitter are getting popcorn ready for the battle that Kennedy is laying the groundwork for – others think Dorsey has lost it:
