Fmr. UFC star filmed reportedly choking man out in New Orleans: ‘He’s going to get sued like a motherf**ker’

A mixed martial arts fighter’s wild New Orleans night included no less than two brawls and left a man unconscious in the street as UFC President Dana White reacted, “He’s going to get sued like a motherf**ker.”

One of the altercations took place on a street in New Orleans Friday night after former UFC fighter Nate Diaz had attended a boxing event at the XULA Convention Center in support of teammate Chris Avila. Avila had bested Paul Bamba by unanimous decision at Misfits Boxing 6 and Diaz was equally triumphant when he took on a man reported by Bloody Elbow as TikToker Rodney Petersen.

Though no indication was given as to what started the bout as a ring of people surrounded multiple conflicts in the street, Diaz could be seen locking the man in an apparent guillotine choke while some onlookers implored him to stop. Just as quickly, the opponent appeared to lose consciousness as the professional fighter released him letting his head smack on the pavement.

Later on, White was shown a video from the impromptu fight where he could be heard asking if the man said to be Petersen was actually social media personality Logan Paul, brother to Jake Paul whom Diaz is slated to fight later this year.

As those he was with questioned the identity of the man, the UFC president said, “He knocked him out! Whoever that is he knocked him out.” before adding, “That guy’s head bounced like a f**king basketball.”

Before the reaction video ended, White could be seen putting his head in his hand as he said, “He’s going to get sued like a motherf**ker.”

The street dispute was the second caught on camera featuring Diaz as earlier, while sitting ringside at the boxing match, he appeared to react violently to something said by boxer and Netflix personality Chase DeMoor.

Standing in the row behind Diaz, DeMoor appeared to be shouting something offensive to the former UFC fighter resulting in a thrown water bottle and a melee between groups. Diaz quickly ducked out of the scuffle and could be seen waving his middle fingers at DeMoor.

Later, DeMoor took to Twitter to snipe at Diaz and said, “Nate Diaz decided to get mad and throw a prime bottle on me, that’s cute bro…just next time don’t run. And stop spending your nights in the club trying to use your dried up MMA career to pull college girls while you’re out in New Orleans.”

Meanwhile, former UFC featherweight and lightweight double-champion Conor McGregor seemed to get a thrill out of Diaz’s violent night and issued back-to-back tweets that read, “Hahaha Nate on a rampage tonight! Let’s go Nate! Hahaha,” and, “Lovely little knee to the body hahahaa”
