A former CIA officer and Biden administration official has recommended that leftists pursue Serbian tactics to rid themselves of President Donald Trump.
His name is Steven A. Cash, and prior to working in the Biden administration, he worked as a CIA officer during the Clinton era, according to data scientist Jennica Pounds, who goes by “Data Republican” on the social media platform X.
“The day after Trump’s 2016 election, Cash co-founded ‘The Steady State’ — a network of more than 340 former intelligence community officials who decided Trump was an ‘existential threat,'” Pounds reported on social media this Thursday.
“When Biden won, the threat was gone. Cash went into Biden’s DHS. His own words: ‘we disappeared.’ Then Trump won again. “Suddenly the existential threat was back,” she added.
It’s at this point that Cash reactivated “The Steady State” and recorded a video in which he recommended leftists copy the strategies used in “Bringing Down a Dictator,” a documentary about toppling former Serbian President Slobodan Milošević.

“Slobodan Milošević in Serbia in the late 90s … is a great model for Americans to be looking at, where his apparently iron grip on power, using all the mechanisms that we’re seeing President Trump use right now, were basically destroyed by an alliance,” he said in the clip above.
“An unlikely alliance of students and unions and coal miners and even some of the police, old ladies in public housing, businessmen, all worked together to accomplish that with almost no violence. It can happen,” he added.
Cash then brought up the documentary.
“I haven’t watched it yet but plan to,” he said. “It’s on YouTube. It’s free. It’s around 55 minutes long. It’s a documentary about the fall of Milošević. It’s sort of a how-to in some ways. It does end in a march on the Capitol building to keep an election going. So there’s a certain amount of confusion there when you watch it, but it’s inspiring.”
“It focuses on a group called Otpor, which was a student-run organization that galvanized the country along with others, but also put pressure on all of those strange bedfellows to get together and do something. It’s also narrated by Martin Sheen. So if you’re a West Wing fan, you’ll enjoy it,” he added.
Besides being a revolutionary leftist, Cash is also a government contractor.
“Cash’s company Deck Prism LLC holds $15+ million in Department of Energy contracts,” according to Pounds. “Almost every one: sole-source or non-competed. One is for the National Nuclear Security Administration — our nuclear weapons program — justified because ‘disclosure would compromise national security.'”
And he’s a lifelong Democrat voter.
Below is another video showing Cash talking about the 2016 formation of “The Steady State”:

According to Pounds, current “Steady State” members include several so-called intelligence officials who authored and/or signed the phony 51-official Hunter Biden memo.
Below is another video in which Cash admits to having played a role in the planning of the “No Kings” protests that occurred last summer:
