The president’s Anti-Weaponization Fund prompted the latest unhinged commentary from a Grammy Award-winning musician known for woke politics.
Before lines between rock, pop and country music were blurred, The Dixie Chicks had summarily tarnished their own reputation by declaring themselves “ashamed” at then-President George W. Bush.
Now, Natalie Maines, lead singer of the renamed The Chicks, has continued a descent into Trump Derangement Syndrome by deeming the current commander-in-chief a “fugly slut” while hurling Epstein file allegations and lamenting efforts to undo wrongs committed by the Biden administration.
Taking to Instagram, Maines shared President Donald Trump’s portrait along with a series of images from the breach of the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021 with the caption, “Our democracy is disappearing right before our eyes.”
“This fugly slut is using your gas money to pay the insurrectionists,” she continued. “But don’t worry about it. I’m sure posting selfies will fix everything. My last post that called him a fugly slut got removed. We’ll see how long this one lasts.”

“Repost and help the message live,” she added before repeating the claim that Trump’s name is mentioned one million times in the Epstein files.
As had been reported, an agreement to drop a lawsuit against the IRS for leaking the president’s tax returns included a settlement with the Department of Justice establishing a $1.776 billion payment to compensate those said to have been victimized under the previous administration via the weaponization of government, a move podcaster Don Lemon dubbed “white reparations.”
In 2020, after Lady Antebellum’s own rebrand to Lady A amid the Black Lives Matter-led “fiery but mostly peaceful” protests, Maines’ group had followed suit by dropping the “Dixie” from their name, prompting separate backlash, both for being woke and for the equally offensive new name of just “The Chicks.”
Much like their disfavor for Bush found fans abandoning ongoing support for the country group, the latest grousing about the president prompted social media users to rip the musician.
Not only did they slam about her on X, but many also took to Maines’ own post and responded, “Like she’s somebody! I used to like her music until she started broadcasting her opinions on the open stage. We don’t want to hear it. You all have no idea, nor do you care, how the middle class live and survive. Stick to your art.”
“Have you not looked in the mirror? Oh, wait, you probably broke it by looking at it,” said one user, while another commented, “I thought liberals didn’t judge people by their looks. Also, should you really be criticizing anyone’s looks?”
Remarks on X were even more brutal as it was suggested, “TDS takes a hell of a toll on the mind AND body,” while someone else quipped, “Good heavens, she devolved into Patton Oswald with a mullet. I guess salad had to die after Earl.”
Those Chicks are not aging well

She’s a smart one. Ruined her music career ranting politics years ago. This won’t bode well either.

I guess she forgot what happened when she pulled this shit back in 2003 when she went after Bush.
The Dixie Chicks paid a heavy price for her big mouth
