Former Obama prosecutor wishes Kash Patel ‘good luck’ with D.C. jury pool

FBI Director Kash Patel followed through on his threat to sue The Atlantic over a hit piece that unflatteringly portrays him, but he could be in for a tough time in court thanks to a biased Washington, D.C. jury.

A former Obama federal prosecutor inadvertently acknowledged the truth about the partisan jury pool in the nation’s capital, a city that overwhelmingly votes Democrat and loathes President Donald J. Trump with a purple passion.

In a Monday post to X, podcaster and former U.S. attorney Joyce Vance shared a screenshot of Patel’s defamation lawsuit filed earlier in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia seeking $250 million in damages from the outlet and its reporter Sarah Fitzpatrick for the piece titled “The FBI Director Is MIA” which painted a picture of the FBI boss as a raging drunk.

“Good luck with that D.C. jury…,” wrote Vance, a frequent contributor on MS NOW/MSNBC as a legal analyst.

Vance’s admission that the high-ranking government official has a snowball’s chance in hell of prevailing in a court with a stacked jury box of rabidly anti-Trump partisans is a damning indictment of the nation’s judicial system, which has been politicized and weaponized to protect Democrats and punish their enemies.

X users responded by pointing out that which is now obvious – that justice isn’t blind in the D.C. kangaroo courts.

The ex-prosecutor’s post also underscores the determination by disgraced former President Joe Biden and his corrupt Justice Department to railroad Trump on J6 charges to get him into a D.C. courtroom, an objective that was thwarted when the Supreme Court upheld the principle of presidential immunity in 2024, derailing lawfare goon Jack Smith’s bogus case that would have been presented to a tainted jury.

Vance’s saying the quiet part out loud is a prime reason why many Americans are losing faith in a system that used to be the envy of the civilized world until the courts were hijacked by Democrats.
