Fox correspondent grills Dems over ‘no’ votes on House resolution condemning antisemitism

More than twenty House Democrats refused to condemn the rising tide of antisemitism on the nation’s college campuses as Israel defends itself from the barbaric terrorists who murdered its citizens and want to see the Jewish state eradicated.

This week, a GOP resolution drafted by Rep. Burgess Owens (R-Utah) passed overwhelmingly by a bipartisan vote of 396-23 with the holdouts being the usual collection of rabble-rousers, race-baiters, crypto communists, and Jew haters that have coalesced around celebrity diva Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), a gaggle of apologists for the Hamas terror organization.

Fox News reporter Hillary Vaughn caught up with several of the left-wing Democrats to try to get them on record to explain why they refused to take a stand against antisemitism, a cancer that has metastasized through the party since AOC and her “Squad” were elected to Congress.

A clearly rattled Rep. Summer Lee (D-Pa.) claimed that she condemns antisemitism “every single day,” and when pressed by Vaughn, said, “So why not vote for the bill?” Lee repeated “every day” multiple times as she scurried away.

Aspiring “Squad” member and foul-mouthed Gen Z newbie Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-Fla.) insisted that while he refused to vote to formally condemn antisemitism on college campuses, he is one of the “most vocal people” in doing so.

“[T]here’s lies in the resolution, and right now, there’s lies everywhere on all sides of this,” he told Vaughn, saying that he decided a “week ago” to vote no on “anything that contains lies” saying that it would cause harm to “both Jewish and Arab and Muslim students alike.”

Fire alarm puller Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) bristled when asked why he wouldn’t vote to condemn antisemitism.

“What are you talking about? I’ve done that a million times,” the easily combustible congressman said, adding that he disagreed with the resolution which he stated didn’t move the conservation forward, and that he “consistently” condemns antisemitism.

“Hateful acts of antisemitism are spreading like wildfire across American college campuses,” Rep. Owens said on the House floor during the debate over his resolution.

“These hate-filled college students have no shame and no fear,” he added. “Imagine the accountability they would face if they were chanting murder to the blacks or murder the trans.”

In addition to Lee, Frost, and Bowman, the other Democrats who refused to condemn the pro-Hamas, anti-Israel protests were AOC and Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN, Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-NJ), Maxine Waters (D-CA), Cori Bush (D-MO), Earl Blumenauer (D-OR), Jim McGovern (D-MA), Nydia Velázquez (D-NY), Delia Ramirez (D-IL), Lauren Underwood (D-IL), Mark Takano (D-CA), Jared Huffman (D-CA), André Carson (D-IN), Jonathan Jackson (D-IL),  Jesus “Chuy” Garcia (D-IL), Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) and Ritchie Torres (D-NY) who has since said that his vote was a mistake.

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) was the lone Republican to vote no as he cited free speech concerns and asked “Who defines antisemitism?” in a post to X, formerly Twitter, explaining his decision.
