Fox News hosts scoffed at President Joe Biden’s latest remarks about the economy, including calling for the rich to pay more taxes, a hypocritical idea considering his own son’s troubles over not paying his fair share.
The White House is having trouble sustaining the narrative that “Bidenomics” has led to an era of economic prosperity as the propaganda isn’t fooling real Americans who have been crushed by a prolonged period of high inflation, especially when it comes to prices at the grocery store.
Biden’s call for soaking the wealthy and corporations received a cool reaction from the “Outnumbered” crew during Friday’s edition of the conservative network’s daytime talk show with Fox News contributor Tammy Bruce calling out the geriatric career politician for his hypocrisy, pointing to Hunter Biden’s stiffing of the IRS to suggest that he’s not the ideal person to be making such an argument.

“Tammy, I chuckled a little bit because he was very fervent about wanting millionaires and billionaires to pay their fair share of taxes, to which you had a pretty interesting retort,” said co-host Kayleigh McEnany.
“Yeah, I immediately thought, this is the dad of a guy with a massive tax problem, right?” Bruce replied. “So, there’s Hunter, federal investigations, and millions of dollars involved. They’re an extremely rich family, and the son didn’t pay his taxes.”
“We don’t know how far the investigation will go to this president as well, but the American people also understandably recoil a bit when they do have to work two jobs to have chicken on the table or to buy some eggs, and then this rich guy is pointing a finger at, ‘Make people pay more taxes.’ Why, so we can send more money to Ukraine?” Bruce continued. “We need some stability here and an understanding that things are happening here socioeconomically, whereas the nation is deteriorating.”
“This is why we’re looking funny at money going to Ukraine. This is why we look funny at a guy who snaps at a reporter saying ‘you guys aren’t happy people,'” she said, referring to Biden’s rude response to a member of the media’s question about why Americans aren’t happy about his mythical roaring economy.
“Well because they propped him up,” Bruce added. “And now he’s embarrassing all of them.”
Bruce also pointed out the devil in the details with the jobs report that Biden was touting, citing figures from the Heritage Foundation which separated the truth from the spin.
“Most are part-time jobs. We lost full-time jobs…we’ve seen this before where it is a nation of part-timers where you have the 50-year-old delivering a pizza to your door so he can feed his family,” she said. “That’s not this country. That’s why Americans don’t like when they get this you know, dancing around about an economic issue which is completely misrepresented.”
“For example, over a thousand billionaires in this country, and I know you’re gonna hear me say this until I am able to change it, you know what the average federal tax rate is? Eight percent! Eight percent!” Biden said. “I think you should be able to be a billionaire or trillionaire or zillionaire if you want, but pay your taxes, for God’s sake.”
