Fugitive Texas Dem whines to MSNBC about the stress suffered by on the lam lawmakers

Even though their cowardice and obstructionism have them being celebrated by leftists and the corrupt media as heroes, there are signs that the fugitive Texas Democrats are starting to crack under the pressure.

During a recent MSNBC appearance, Texas Democratic Caucus Chair Gene Wu updated the left-wing propaganda outlet’s viewers on the situation, striking a brave pose, but his sickly appearance spoke volumes as he whined about the hardships faced by the absentee lawmakers and their families.

“We had no choice but to leave Texas to stop this corruption. Other states, we’re telling them, ‘You have no choice now, you have to do this distasteful thing or our democracy, our nation, the American dream is gone. It’s toast, it’s over,” Wu told the troubled cable network’s Democratic party mouthpieces.

“We’re doing our absolute best to hold on. And it’s not easy. And like you all said before, we have lots of expenses, lots of fees. People are calling in bomb threats. People are threatening to use the FBI on us. They’re harassing our families back in Texas. They’re trying to break into people’s houses,” he claimed.

“They’re going to do all sorts of things to try to get us,” Wu continued. “This is a lot of stress on not only us, but on our families and our loved ones. We’re not Republicans, we’re not wealthy. Most of us are working-class people.”

But X users weren’t sympathetic to the China-born lawmaker’s crying the poormouth on behalf of himself and his fellow Democrats who have sought refuge in other blue states, and now that the “Beto Bribes” have been cut off by Texas AG Ken Paxton and the courts, they could soon be forced to return home.

Branded by Texas Governor Gregg Abbott as the “ringleader of the derelict Democrats,” Wu is facing an attempt to have him removed from office for the dereliction of his duties.

“Unable to defend his corrupt agenda on its merits, Greg Abbott now desperately seeks to silence my dissent by removing a duly elected official from office. History will judge this moment. It will show a Governor who used the law as a weapon to silence his people, and it will show those of us who stood for a higher principle,” Wu said in a recent statement, painting his truancy in the grand, sweeping historical terms that Democrats constantly invoke to cloak their dishonorable actions.
