No matter how heavily the Democratic National Committee has stacked the deck in favor of President Joe Biden’s reelection, he remains at risk of being undermined by a third-party bid and Nancy Pelosi is furious about it.
The Speaker Emerita lashed out at No Labels, the centrist group founded by former Democrat Senator Joe Lieberman tha,t unlike other threats to Biden’s left from Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Cornel West, and Rep. Dean Phillips (D-Minn.), has the corrupt old guard seriously spooked.
On Thursday, the 83-year-old Democrat spat venom at No Labels, invoking the tiresome mantra that the group is a threat to “our democracy,” a term that really means the monopoly on power of the rotten-to-the-core authoritarian entity that more closely resembles the notorious Soviet Politburo than the party of JFK and FDR.

“No Labels is perilous to our democracy. I hesitate to say No Labels because they do have labels,” she said. “They’ve called for no taxes for the rich. No child tax credit for children. They’re called let’s undo the Affordable Care Act.”
The vindictive crone unloaded on No Labels and its campaign for a unity presidential ticket when she spoke at a breakfast hosted by leftist D.C. think tank Third Way, saying that while she had ignored the efforts of No Labels, the threat of a challenge to Biden and the crooked Democrat elite has compelled her to speak out.
“When they jeopardize the reelection of Joe Biden as president of the United States, I can no longer remain silent on that,” the former Speaker said.
The group reacted to Pelosi’s remarks in a statement to the Washington Examiner from former Republican Maryland Governor Larry Hogan, who serves as No Labels’ national co-chairman.
“It’s so disheartening to see Nancy Pelosi literally make things up about No Labels to score political points. She ascribes positions to No Labels that they never took. She accuses No Labels of causing chaos in the House even though they’ve spent 14 years working to forge bipartisanship and combat the extremism destroying the country,” Hogan said.
There could be some bad blood between Pelosi and No Labels which back in 2018 reportedly mulled a primary challenge to her in the San Francisco district that she has had a stranglehold on since Ronald Reagan was in the White House.
“The Washington establishment is often so certain – and so wrong – about the future. Remember when they told you a Republican ‘red wave’ was coming in the 2022 midterms? Or that Hillary Clinton had a ‘100% chance of winning the election’ in 2016 against Donald Trump?” No Labels states on its website. “Keep this in mind next time you hear that an independent ticket could never win the White House in 2024. No Labels has spent more than a year investigating whether it is possible.”
