Hollywood A-lister George Clooney sucker punched his “friend” Joe Biden when he penned a New York Times op-ed calling for him to step down, a decision that his wife reportedly influenced.
While it may have seemed strange to some that the 63-year-old “Oceans 11” star would join the ranks of those calling for Joe to go weeks after headlining a swanky fundraiser for Hollywood high rollers who donated nearly $30 million to the obviously senile candidate, it may make more sense considering Amal Clooney’s views on Israel and the conflict in Gaza.
According to a Daily Mail report, Mrs. Clooney’s views “swayed” her husband to break ranks with Biden’s defenders and come out against his reelection in the op-ed that added star power from one of the Democrat Party’s most important constituencies – the Hollywood elite – to dump the incumbent before he loses the election.

“It’s devastating to say it, but the Joe Biden I was with three weeks ago at the fund-raiser was not the Joe “big F-ing deal” Biden of 2010. He wasn’t even the Joe Biden of 2020. He was the same man we all witnessed at the debate,” Clooney wrote.
Amal Clooney is a human rights lawyer who played a key role in convincing a rogue globalist court to bring charges against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at a time when much of the Democrat Party’s anti-Semitic base is demanding that Biden force the Jewish state into a ceasefire in its war on the Hamas terror organization.
“No matter what the outcome, the pressure is now off George to dig in his heels in support of Biden, which meant going against his wife,” a source told the Daily Mail. “Amal has also taken a strong stance on her views regarding the conflict, and George is, as always, listening. Now, at least for the time being, the former gap between him and his wife are not as much of an issue.”
Last month a source explained to the outlet why Mrs. Clooney chose not to attend the Los Angeles fundraiser for Biden that her husband headlined along with Julia Roberts and Jimmy Kimmel.
According to the outlet, “While Amal usually would attend such an event with her husband, her recent part in the International Criminal Court’s decisions would have made for an awkward and uncomfortable situation.”
“George has always been a person who honors his commitments,” the insider told the Daily Mail. “So, he did his part and attended the event, going it alone.”
“George is walking a fine line,” the source said. “His allegiance to his wife and twins will always come first. But he still values his close friendships and his relationships with the people currently in the White House.”
Clooney reportedly cleared the op-ed with his BFF, former President Barack Obama who is increasingly seen by some to be the driving force behind the attempted coup against Biden.
“So now fake movie actor George Clooney, who never came close to making a great movie, is getting into the act. He’s turned on Crooked Joe like the rats they both are. What does Clooney know about anything?” Former President Donald J. Trump said in a post to Truth Social, giving his thoughts on Clooney’s stabbing of his “friend” in the back, while also posting a hilarious video of the actor and Biden.
