Geraldo savaged for taking shot at Tucker: ‘That’s why all of Twitter is clamoring for another episode of his show’

Former Fox News host Geraldo Rivera is still taking potshots at Tucker Carlson from afar, claiming he is “full of sh*t” over the Ukraine conflict.

The 80-year-old journalist is getting dragged all over the place on Twitter for it as millions eagerly await Carlson’s next episode while Rivera sinks into oblivion. One commenter on Twitter summed it up thusly, “Yeah that’s why all of Twitter is clamoring for another episode of his show while you’re contemplating your next failed move. ”

Due respect to Tucker Carlson, but he’s as full of sh*t about Ukraine as he was about January 6th. His smiley face doesn’t change fact Russia invaded sovereign Ukraine; 1000’s are dead, including women & children, the world order is assailed and Putin is a punk,” Rivera viciously tweeted on Friday.

That came after Carlson praised former President Trump during an appearance on Russell Brand’s Stay Free podcast on Friday concerning Ukraine.

“I”m struck by his foreign policy views,” Carlson told Brand. “Trump is the only person with stature in the Republican Party, really, who is saying, ‘Wait a second … why are we supporting an endless war in Ukraine?'”

“I’m so grateful that he has the position,” he added. “He’s right, and everyone in Washington is wrong … Trump is right on that question … He is saying true things about Ukraine and God bless him.”

Rivera has made attacking Carlson a pastime. After the Jan. 6 protest, he called Carlson’s defense of those involved “bullsh*t.” Carlson branded the violence as a “false flag operation” and millions of Americans agreed.

Despite Carlson’s massive popularity only growing after being fired by Fox News, Rivera just can’t seem to deal with his views which reflect those of a wide swath of America. Carlson is not shutting up or going away and his following is growing exponentially on Twitter as Rivera spits venom from the sidelines.

Rivera announced last week that he was fired from “The Five.” In a snit, he quit Fox News after 23 years at the network.

“Geraldo Rivera has quit as one of the lonely liberal voices on Fox News’ popular political combat show The Five, saying Wednesday that ‘a growing tension that goes beyond editorial differences’ made it no longer worth it to him,” the Associated Press’s David Bauder reported.

On his last day at Fox News, a leftist Rivera pushed affirmative action following the US Supreme Court nixing it as unconstitutional.

The Associated Press reported, “He also noted — a day after the U.S. Supreme Court struck down affirmative action in higher education — that he got his start in television when the Ford Foundation and Columbia Journalism School teamed to promote minorities in journalism. He had been working with Puerto Rican activist groups in New York.”

“I feel very emotional and deeply moved,” Rivera commented on his leaving the network following a tribute that included clips from his career and goodbye messages from fellow Fox hosts Jesse Watters, Bret Baier, Sean Hannity, and Jeanine Pirro.
