Entrepreneur, television personality, and NBA team owner Mark Cuban had some words of advice for his fellow billionaire, recommending that Elon Musk should consider turning Twitter back over to the “woke” mob after he gave a less than rosy update about the tech giant’s financial situation.
Cuban, who is probably best known for his longtime stint as one of the “sharks” on the popular ABC series “Shark Tank” as well as his ownership of the Dallas Mavericks has made no secret of his leftist political leanings and recently rejected the idea of a third party presidential run next year, seemed to take great delight in jabbing Musk who has become a sworn enemy of Democrats and their minions for restoring free speech to the platform after he bought it last year.
On Saturday, the Tesla/SpaceX CEO and Twitter owner tweeted, “We’re still negative cash flow, due to ~50% drop in advertising revenue plus heavy debt load. Need to reach positive cash flow before we have the luxury of anything else,” as the company continues to experience headwinds since his takeover.
Musk’s copping to Twitter’s cash flow and debt issues was like blood in the water and the “shark” pounced to troll his ideological foe with a series of rhyming taunts and suggesting that Twitter “needs a little Woke in it’s life ?”
“Went Red, Cash Bled “ ?
Or how about
“Go Red, No Bread “ ?
Or maybe
“Went Red, Advertisers Fled ?
And the obligatory – “Why is no one in the Red stream media talking about this?”
Maybe @twitter needs a little Woke in it’s life ? https://t.co/O4XFfxsHEw

Cuban’s witty trolling comes as Musk’s company is faced with competition from Mark Zuckerberg’s Threads, an app trumpeted by the media to be the “Twitter killer” and which has aleady drawn over 100 million users as a safe space for leftists who can’t deal with having their ideas challenged in a forum that allows open discussion.
Twitter users reacted to Cuban’s needling of the “Chief Twit” and his idea that an infusion of wokeness is the ticket to success.
Tell us you’re jealous of him without telling us…

Mark you know Twitter never made money under the left b/c it was not a business with the goal to make money.. it’s was an information warfare tool where deep state narratives were created & decimated with no challenge b/c all dissenting voices were silenced & removed.

I understand your sentiment @mcuban I think some of the “woke broke” stuff is taken too far out of context.
But when it comes to twitter I think the whole red comment thing is wrong.
Elon has been very open about his voting in the past and it hasn’t been red.

Cuban has been critical of Musk since he bought Twitter and changed the company’s direction, recently tweeting, “He isn’t pushing free speech. When @elonmusk goes out of his way to engage with and promote the accounts and tweets of people who disagree with him, then I’ll believe he is about free speech. Until then, this is just an adventure for him.”
