GOP lawmaker warns of 'Hamas-like situation' at the southern border

U.S. Rep. Bob Good (R-VA) warned of a likely “Hamas-like situation” at the southern border, where “dangerous” people are infiltrating the country along with the 8 million-plus other illegal immigrants allowed in by the Biden administration.

Good joined a group of fellow Republican lawmakers at a Thursday press conference and declared, “The greatest immediate threats are our debt, unprecedented level of debt, and the open border — Biden’s open border.”

On the border, he called attention to “the free health care, the free social services, the free travel, the free housing, [and] the free education” that illegal immigrants get.

“The ones that are on our plane when we fly back from the border without going through the same checks that we have to go to get on a plane, by the way,” he said. “No court date to appear, just go where you want to, we’ll get in touch with you later — literally, that’s what that says on their papers.”

The GOP congressman insisted that “irreparable harm” is being done to the country by President Biden’s open-border policies.

“A Hamas-like situation, almost a certainty if we close the border today because of who we’ve let into this country,” he said. “They acknowledged to us when we were at the border just last week, they don’t know where 75% — they admit it! — they don’t know where 75% of the individuals they’ve let into this country, which is in the range of eight million, so 6 million they acknowledge we don’t know where they are.”

“They find about a hundred dumb ones on the terror watch list who come and surrender to Border Patrol like the other eight million,” the lawmaker continued. “How many do you think might be dangerous criminals, terrorists, among the two million who are the ‘gottaways’ who don’t surrender? Do you think that it might only be 10 percent are dangerous, so only 200,000 critically dangerous, very dangerous individuals, who we let into our country? What if it’s only 1 percent, 20,000. I don’t think anybody would take that bet. It took 2,000 to do what Hamas did. Look at what we’re allowing every day, 300,000 last month — record levels.”

With the terror threat level at an unprecedented high following the attack on Israel by the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas, FBI Director Christopher Wray testified in early December he’s seeing “blinking red lights everywhere.”

Former CIA analyst Sarah Adams, who now works for the Defense Department, confirmed in an appearance on the Shawn Ryan Show podcast that terrorists have “already started” entering the U.S. through the open southern border.

“I know that because I was told several different times about group pockets of terrorists, so like six [to] eight — there was one larger one, maybe 25 to 50. I think it was 50 — that procured passports from the Afghan government with the sole purpose of coming to our southern border. One was ISIS, it was only a group of eight,” she explained.

Adams said this is happening after explaining that the Biden administration has established an “official intelligence-sharing relationship” with the Taliban.
