Grammy-winning singer turned Democratic congressional candidate grilled over music video that depicts lewd acts

A Grammy-winning Latin singer turned Democratic congressional candidate is in hot water over a music video that depicts lewd acts.

While it’s easy to chalk such behavior up to the strangeness of celebrity, things fall under an extra layer of scrutiny when one launches a political bid. This includes one of Bobby Pulido’s music videos from 2010 for his song “Dias de Ayer.” In the video, he is depicted engaging in sexual acts while wrapped in a red blanket, and at one point appears to expose himself to a woman on an airplane.

At the time, Pulido was questioned about his sexuality and gave a rather interesting answer.

“People are opening up more. I can even tell you that when I started my career, I saw the whole situation (of gays) very differently. At first, they said I was gay; there were rumors that I was like that,” he responded, according to an English translation.

He also posted “Igualmente amigo, no homo,” in 2019.

To make matters worse, some internet sleuths dug into the posts on his personal X account and discovered several “linking to explicit websites on his personal X account, as well as a post that appeared to show him urinating on President Donald Trump’s Hollywood Walk of Fame star,” according to Fox News. “The Democratic nominee also drew backlash over past vulgar attacks against Trump, including posting the Spanish translation of ‘f**k your mother.'”

“I’d like to give you the biggest ‘f**k you,’ you piece of s**t, a**hole, d**k head, son of a b**ch,” he allegedly wrote in another post.
