Pelosi opens the door for officers and can be seen with his hand on a hammer being held by attack suspect David DePape.

“What’s going on man?” the officer asks, seemingly confused by the bizarre scene in front of him.

“Everything is good,” DePape responds as the two struggle over control of the weapon.

“Drop the hammer!” the officer then commands.

“Uhm, nope,” DePape responds before wrenching it from Pelosi’s grasp and attacking him.

Police quickly took down the suspect. DePape has pleaded not guilty to all charges against him stemming from the brutal beating, which include federal charges of assaulting an immediate family member of a federal official and attempted kidnapping of a federal officer.
