‘Gravity’s a b*tch, Pocahontas!’ Liz Warren mocked after falling on Senate floor

Pocahontas was tagged with a new name, Falling Palefeather, after taking a spill on the floor of the U.S. Senate, and C-SPAN was there for the trip.

Amid speculation that someone had consumed a bit too much firewater, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) was seen attempting to lean on a small table after giving a speech on appropriations. However, the table was not sturdy enough to support her weight, and it collapsed, along with Warren.

Keep in mind, Warren is 76 years old and just started her third term in the Senate, meaning she will be 81 when it ends in 2031. And while her spill was a slow-motion fall that she appeared to endure well, it serves as yet another reminder of the need for term limits in Congress.

As for bipartisanship, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) was the first person to rush to Warren’s aid, helping the liberal Democrat regain her feet.

Given that Warren appeared to weather her embarrassing defeat to gravity well, it opened the floodgates for mockery and social media did not let us down.

Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X:
