Greatest political ad ever? Hilarious mock ad featuring ‘Joe Biden diet plan’ hits a lot of marks

Talk about taking lemons and making lemonade, a hilarious spoof political ad does that and more in spelling out the benefits of the disastrous policies President Joe Biden and the Democratic Party have ushered in over the past two years.

From supply chain issues to record gas prices to 40-year high inflation, a woman shares in a video clip dubbed the “greatest political ad” how all of these things have improved her life and made her healthier.

The spot opens with the woman talking about her weight while what appears to be a photo of her at a more plump stage in her life is shown, along with a body measuring tape around her waist.

“Here I am back in January of last year,” she said. ” I couldn’t keep the weight off no matter how many exercise programs I tried. Now I’m down to my ideal weight and it’s never been easier.”

The screen cuts to a video of her holding a large shirt in front of herself, dropping it at the moment she announced that she has reached her ideal weight, exposing a much thinner version of herself. But it’s the WHY that jumps out in a humorous way.

“This is the greatest political ad I’ve ever seen,” a social media user said, in sharing the video.

“All I had to do was Vote Blue, no matter who,” she explained.

The woman is then seen standing in a grocery store with empty shelves, celebrating the reality that she couldn’t fill her cart if she wanted to.

“I used to be really unhealthy and never got much exercise, but now that I can’t afford to put gas in my car I have to walk to work!” she happily reports. “And as an added bonus, I don’t have to worry about being carjacked anymore.”

“You can ditch Tae Bo, and start saying TYJoe – an overlay on the screen explains that this equates to “Thank You Joe.”

The mock ad drew lots of praise AND an astute acknowledgment that “the Blues won’t get it” — here’s a quick sampling of responses from Twitter:
