Greta Van Susteren calls out ‘coward’ Mark Ruffalo after he beclowns himself with ill-fated Trump smear

Veteran journalist and television anchor Greta Van Susteren called out actor Mark Ruffalo as a “big baby” and “coward” after he offered a sort-of apology for posting a fake picture of former President Donald Trump.

Van Susteren was reacting to the Marvel actor’s social media post over the weekend as he backtracked on what turned out to be AI-generated images of Trump instead of the salacious picture of the former president “in a group of young girls all headed to Epstein’s ‘Fantasy Island.'”

The Community Notes on X quickly threw cold water on Ruffalo’s attempt to smear Trump in the wake of the latest release of documents revealing names associated with the deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Ruffalo’s response was to take a jab at X owner Elon Musk.

“Sorry Folks. Apparently these images are AI fakes. The fact Trump was on Epstein’s plane and what Epstein was up to is not,” the far-left actor wrote. “Be careful. Elon’s X and his allowing so much disinformation here is driving the value of his app down by 55%.”

The actor’s posts caught the attention of Van Susteren who reminded that he had “lobbied my firing” at MSNBC where the veteran anchor and current Newsmax host had only been for about six months in 2017. The former Fox News host was reportedly let go due to low ratings but she noted Ruffalo’s part in posting “false tweets” about her and refusing to meet with her in person.

“What a coward,” she added in another post on Tuesday, tagging the actor.

“[W]hy would he not meet and have polite coffee with me so that I could set him straight about me – and now?” she wrote. “He posts this false picture which INVITES a lawsuit. How long is he going to keep doing this to people before someone sues him? That will ‘fix his wagon.’”

In response to one X user’s comments, Van Susteren again mocked Ruffalo for being a coward.

She seemed to have plenty of others who agreed with her.
