Gretchen Whitmer reduces women to ‘people with a period’ in final pitch to MI voters

While plenty of eyes are on the governor’s race in Arizona, where firebrand Trump loyalist Kari Lake is expected to prevail on Tuesday, the state of Michigan may prove to be the bellwether in determining if a red wave has indeed swept the nation.

Republican Tudor Dixon is making the Michigan governor’s race worth following as she challenges Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, who gained national attention for her rigid lockdown efforts during the height of what the American people were assured was a pandemic — aside from fathoming how people could vote for cognitively-challenged stroke victim John Fetterman in the Pennsylvania Senate race, the level of support lockdown queen Whitmer continues to see boggles the mind.

Even worse, Whitmer is fully on board with the “woke” insanity that has infected today’s society. So much so that she will not use the term “women” to describe women.

Whether displaying fealty to the left or surrendering out of fear of the backlash from the intolerant woke brigade set on undermining societal structure, Whitmer referred to women as “people with a period” in a TikTok video Monday. Doing what Democrats do best, attempting to buy votes with taxpayer money, the governor was talking about reducing the costs of menstrual products — a discriminatory practice that grants women a privileged status in society.

“A bipartisan tax cut will help reduce the economic burden of the cost of menstrual products, especially for lower-income Michiganders,” Whitmer said in the video. “Saving people with a period from paying taxes on up to $4,800 in spending over the course of their lifetime.”

Some polling has Whitmer ahead in the race, but polls have proven to be more of a tool to steer beliefs than to reflect what voters are actually thinking. At the same time, Democrats felt compelled to bring in their heavy hitter, Barack Obama, over the weekend to buoy support for the governor.

Dixon also shared polling that has her in the lead, ever so slightly:

Dixon was also clear that the woke agenda will not fly under her leadership, according to The Daily Telegram.

The Republican said in a closing message Monday “every parent I talk to is concerned about education right now and what’s happening in our schools,” and if elected her administration will “focus on getting back to the basics of reading, writing and arithmetic,” increasing parents’ access to the classroom and preventing “woke” policies from being implemented in schools, the newspaper reported.
