President Joe Biden could not have sullied the 22nd anniversary of 9/11 more than he did on Monday if he had intentionally set out to do so — assuming that he didn’t.
Biden infuriated 9/11 families when he became the first U.S. president not to hold a memorial at the White House or to attend Ground Zero ceremonies in honor of those fallen, sending Vice President Kamala Harris to stand in for him — the president marked the occasion in a brief statement from Alaska while returning from a trip to the Group of 20 summit in India and then a stop in Vietnam. On this solemn day, the Biden administration also announced a deal with Iran, the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism, where the ayatollahs will receive a $6 billion payout in exchange for five U.S. prisoners.
And while it may seem that things can’t get much worse, the feeble 80-year-old president also lied to the American people while commemorating the attack by Islamic terrorists that killed nearly 3,000 people.
“Ground Zero in New York, I remember standing there the next day and looking at the building. I felt like I was looking through the gates of Hell, it looked so devastating,” Biden said while speaking in Alaska.

Biden was not in New York on Sept. 12, 2021. He was in Washington, D.C., because the Senate convened that day to condemn the attack. In fact, Biden did not visit Ground Zero until a week later.
Former Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) summed it up best when he tweeted: “Wow. @JoeBiden even lies about 9/11. He is a disgrace.”

Just when you think Biden has finally hit rock bottom, he rises to the occasion to surprise the nation once more. Before lying about visiting New York the day after 9/11, the president opened his remarks marking the deadly terrorist attack by cracking a joke with Alaska Gov. Mike Dunleavy (R).
“Governor Dunleavy, it’s good to see you. The governor and I have something in common: we’re both from Scranton, Pennsylvania. I wish I had him playing on my high school ball club when I was playing. I could’ve been an All-American having you in front of me,” Biden joked from the stage at a Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson ceremony in Anchorage.

Disgrace only begins to describe the president’s actions Monday, but his media gatekeepers are in full-on Reelect Biden mode so don’t expect much coverage of his disrespect.
Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the day’s events as seen on Twitter:
While Americans mourn 9/11, Biden lines the pockets of the Iranian ayatollahs who provide safe harbor to the current head of al-Qaeda. This deal bankrolls nuclear ambitions, hostage takers, and extremists who hate America. When I’m President, we will not sell out American… https://t.co/9RiRfxeOf6

Why isn’t Biden here in NYC at Ground Zero? Perhaps because he wants the American people to “move past” or forget about this attack, who carried it out & why. They’d rather us focus on new, bigger, more lucrative wars. But we are not sheep. We will #NeverForget pic.twitter.com/FEzssu3sfZ

Joe Biden reminds us to “Never Forget” 9/11 and then moments later, claimed he was at Ground Zero the next day.

The White House’s explanation to @pdoocy for why Biden didn’t visit ground zero today was “22 years after Pearl Harbor, presidents were not still going to visit Hawaii.”

It may be too much to ask of Joe Biden, but since he chose to become the first POTUS *not* to attend a memorial at one of the attack sites on a 9/11 anniversary, he could’ve at least had the decency to get all the details correct when he finally delivered his remarks.
