U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), the self-avowed socialist considered by many as the queen of progressivism recently endorsed President Biden, showcasing how compromised she has become by DC politics AND money in a little more than four years in office since challenging a white male incumbent Democrat in the primary.
But is there a method to her madness? Fox News host Greg Gutfled believes there may be, suggesting Monday on “The Five” that AOC likes the 80-year-old president because “he’s a brainless hood ornament.”
Co-host Dana Perino set Gutfeld up by saying that after spending time with a bunch of Democrats over the weekend — a trademark, it seems, of former George W. Bush officials — they are coming to a consensus that Biden should step down.
“So, this is very strange for me, because when I see the media, the mainstream media and liberals turn on Biden, then it’s time to support him,” Gutfeld responded. “Because they must be having something else that’s far worse in store because they never have anything better. So, I’m beginning to worry that — what are they going to do? Is it Gavin Newsom? Is it Kamala? Are they going to bring back Satan herself, Hillary Clinton? I don’t know. Now I’m a fan of his exploding temper, I can’t get enough of it.”
“And then you have AOC, who — we know Joe is incapacitated. We’re not supposed to mention dementia, but let’s face it, these blowups are a sign of somebody with dementia,” he continued, referencing a story this week about White House sources claiming Biden had an ugly temper. “We’re not supposed to say that. You could say that Trump was insane — remember, when he was mad?”
Perino chimed in to confirm that suggesting that Donald Trump was mentally incompetent was indeed allowed.
“The 25th Amendment. But if you actually say anything about this kind of anger stuff, that’s bad. We know he’s a brainless hood ornament. That’s why AOC likes him,” Gutfeld said. “So, AOC endorsing him is basically saying we need more of that because he will never get in the way of our progressive agenda, far left agenda.”
“And lastly, I was told that he was a nice person. I was told he was your congenial grandpa, and now you’re telling me that was a big lie and he’s actually a real meanie? I mean, who would’ve thought the media would’ve done that? I mean, I am shocked,” he concluded.
