Gutfeld calls out ‘idiots’ at his own network, Fox News, who air clips of activists’ bizarre stunts

Fox News host Greg Gutfeld has never been shy about telling the world how he feels and his feelings on the latest stunts pulled by various activists are no different.

During Monday’s airing of “The Five,” Gutfeld called out his own network during a segment on two climate protesters throwing soup on an incredibly famous Van Gogh painting.

“Let’s not show it,” he advised. “Don’t show it.”

Fellow co-host Jessica Tarlov tried to assure him that she didn’t think they even had the clip, but right then the network began showing it.

“This is why it works!” Gutfeld shouted. “This is why it works because we’re idiots because we play it. This is why these people are brilliant because you saw this originally at sporting events.”

He noted that the Van Gogh vandals are similar to streakers, activists at sporting events, and those who commit mass shootings for media attention.

“But it’s not hard to find out how they figured this out,” Gutfeld continued. “It all works with mass shootings as well. If you can just read the press, we’re suckers. We’ll just play the same thing, over and over and over again. Like when it was happening at sporting events. It happened once. Then it happened twice and then it kept happening. And then it stopped.”

“Same thing if you go back 20 years with streakers. They were always on the field, when did they stop? When people stopped covering the streaking,” he emphasized.

Gutfeld suggested an “eye-for-an-eye” approach as a solution for the activists’ mischievous misdeeds.

“I will say I have a solution for this, we should be able to vandalize their belongings. If you step on it, that’s a couple hundred bucks,” he explained. “If you go to their house and just dump a bunch of milk in their house. I say an eye for an eye for this because I don’t like being played and that’s what they’re doing.”
