Biden’s globalism was allegedly at fault for another fatality after an illegal alien permitted to remain during his administration was accused of bludgeoning a woman to death.
A horrifying scene unfolded outside a gas station in Fort Myers, Florida, when a clerk went to confront a man smashing in the windshield of her SUV. It was then that surveillance footage captured a man, alleged to be the illegal alien Rolbert Jaochim, as he repeatedly struck her with the same hammer before leaving her to die.
Fox News congressional correspondent Bill Melugin detailed, “DHS confirms to [Fox News] that the suspect charged [with] murdering an innocent gas station clerk in Fort [Myers], FL by bludgeoning her to death with a hammer is a Haitian illegal alien who was caught & released at the border by the Biden admin in 2022. An immigration judge ordered Rolbert Jaochim deported from the U.S. later that same year, but DHS says the Biden admin shielded him from deportation by granting him Temporary Protected Status, which expired in 2024.”
The Department of Homeland Security shared the post along with a news report from Gulf Coast News that named the victim as Yasmin, a Bangladeshi mother of two daughters, while decrying the open borders policies of former President Joe Biden.

Commenting on the case, as U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) had lodged a detainer against the suspect to see to his overdue deportation, acting DHS Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis said in a statement, “This illegal alien barbarically hit this woman in the head multiple times with a hammer. This heinous murderer was RELEASED into the country by the Biden administration. Not only did the Biden administration release him into the country, but they then gave him temporary protected status. Their reckless immigration policies cost this woman her life.”
“The arrest of this criminal is an example of how ICE and local authorities can work together to swiftly bring criminals to justice and make our communities safe,” added Bis, as Fort Myers Police Department Chief Jason Fields expressed, “We were not going home until we found him.”
“We had, I think, a cop on every single block in the last confirmed area that we saw him,” continued Fields, “and we used every resource, like I said, from our aviation support, K-9 support to boots on the ground.”
The murder of the gas station clerk was just another in a tragically long list of victims who fell prey to the open border policy of Biden and the Democrats mere weeks after Loyola University freshman Sheridan Gorman was fatally shot, allegedly at the hands of a Venezuelan national who had been caught and released at the border in May 2023 as the Biden administration’s self-inflicted crisis raged on.
The suspect faces charges of homicide, criminal mischief, and property damage exceeding $1,000.
