The expectation that politicians are honest, trustworthy and transparent has long since expired, but a recent Instagram post put a cartoonishly fine point on it.
House Speaker Hakeem Jeffries, when he’s not maligning his Republican colleagues, is an avid fitness fan. One could tell from an image posted to social media that he very, very much wants to be perceived as svelte.
