A video has emerged of a group of FBI agents being called out while arresting an alleged Jan. 6th rioter on Aug. 31st.
Uploaded by the Hodge Twins, two conservative influencers who are friends with alleged Jan. 6th rioter Nathan Hughes, the footage showed an angry cameraman trying to record Hughes’ arrest but being repeatedly blocked by the agents.

As noted in the tweet above, “The feds REALLY didn’t want people getting close and videoing them.”
Indeed, every single time the cameraman tried to sidle closer to the arrest scene, agents put their hands on him to try and push him back.
“Don’t get anywhere close to me!” the cameraman at one point yelled at the touchy-feely FBI agents.
“Sir, please step back,” an agent said to him.
“But I’m not doing anything wrong,” the cameraman replied.
“I know you’re not doing anything wrong, but please step back,” the agent responded.
“Get your f–king hands off me!” the cameramen shouted back.
Despite the agents’ frustrated behavior, they never arrested the cameraman, though they did arrest Hughes.
Critics responding to the footage on Twitter slammed the FBI for their treatment of both Hughes and the cameraman:
Every one of those agents needs to be fired on day one of President Trumps next term

When did this happen?
It’s absolutely horrifying that American citizens would be treated this way.— wyntre (@Wyntre999) September 7, 2023
Anyone still saying that the rank and file FBI agents are good hardworking salt of the Earth people needs to know… these are the same people kicking in your front door at 2am to inspect your arm brace.

I especially liked how the fed was ‘asking nicely’. Oh, are we supposed to give them the benefit of the doubt because asking nicely? Rank and file is just as corrupt as leadership. Those guys shouldn’t have the balls to show their faces in public but they have no shame so…

Thanks for sharing this.
The cameraman here is a true American patriot.
How the FBI behaved was ridiculous.
God knows how they behave when the cameras are turned off.
Our rights don’t end because they say so.
Totally unacceptable.
The FBI needs to be defunded and shut down.

So what did Hughes do?
The DOJ claims he not only entered the U.S. Capitol illegally on Jan. 6th, 2021 but that he also “pushed against the police line in the [Lower West Terrace] tunnel and helped other rioters physically fight police in an attempt to breach the line and enter the U.S. Capitol building.”
Another tweet pushes back on some of these allegations.
“He is being charged with crimes related to January 6th. He didn’t assault anyone and he didn’t vandalize anything. He is being labeled a domestic terrorist and a traitor to his country by woke leftists and the media,” it reads.
“Nate is just like us…he’s an outspoken American Patriot…he loves freedom, loves his country, and would do anything to preserve our rights. He’s been fighting to save our country for years now. He’s also a small business owner with a family that relies on him,” Hodgetwins added in the tweet.
Look:
Last week, a friend of ours was raided by the feds over J6, his name is Nathan Hughes and he’s from Fayetteville, Arkansas. Nate was raided by the FBI and arrested at gun point. His girlfriend (who just had a miscarriage) was held at gun point and put in handcuffs. The FBI… pic.twitter.com/LOpMQ28eUJ

The tweet also mentioned Liberty Safe. As previously reported, when the FBI contacted Liberty Safe and asked them for the code to Hughes’ safe, the company complied.
This triggered an initial round of mostly muted backlash. But a day later on Tuesday, Liberty Safe confirmed in a Twitter statement that they had indeed handed over the “access code to a safe” of one of their customers to the FBI.
This time the backlash was monumental, with thousands of conservatives rushing to slam Liberty Safe for “betraying” them. To their credit, the backlash prompted Liberty Safe to backtrack and announce a new policy via Twitter/X on Wednesday whereby customers will be granted the opportunity to have their personal safe access codes expunged from the company’s records.
Questions arise when Liberty Gun Safe takes center stage in FBI J6 raid, and the answer is NOT good https://t.co/YJYAwRhnCc via @BIZPACReview
