Vice President Kamala Harris just can’t seem to give up her bowls of freshly prepared word salad, no matter how close to the presidency she is.
During a speech to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, she served up her understanding of “children of the community” and it sure is something.

This could be Harris’s somewhat clunky attempt to incorporate the “it takes a village” phrase that has been touted by Democrats – specifically Hillary Clinton – into her campaign. It is something that parents have been wary of, as many view it as an attempt to normalize children belonging to people other than their parents.
But whatever she was trying to say, she missed her mark:

That’s strange bc I grew up thinking I’m the child of my parents, not the community. What community did she grow up in? The Indian community or the black community because obviously she didn’t grow up as a child of her parents

And when she says “community” she means the “government”. Make no mistake, she wants total control over every aspect of our lives including deciding what is right for children. Tim Walz strongly supports this putting and is a big reason she chose him to be her running mate
