President Joe Biden’s decision to compare a small, easily controlled house fire to the raging inferno in Hawaii was blasted by a local rental business.
The company, Hawaiian Rent-All, was unhappy with the president’s attempt to make the devastating wildfire all about him. They quickly went viral for their public rebuke of Biden, using the sign outside their business to sarcastically say “Sorry you almost lost your ’67 Corvette in a fire, Mr. President. Maui strong!”
The social media post was captioned “Genuine sympathy is better than contrived empathy. It’s not always about you Mr. President.”
The message was a massive hit on X, formerly known as Twitter, where users took the opportunity to pound Biden for his tone-deaf message:
I love it. A classy way to remind him he’s not the center of the universe.

for the missing children.
When he told the story I wonder if he secretly wished the corvette caught fire with the files in the trunk!
What was on the files @JoeBiden ? Was it anything to do with Burisma

No worries, Maui – the fire never went beyond the kitchen. It got nowhere near his precious Corvette!

“No comment” was far better after all

It’s almost unbelievable to imagine our POTUS actually compared losing his’67 Corvette to losing your loved ones in a fire. But, there you have it…
Reminds me of when he checked his watch when the bodies of our 13 Marines arrived home from Afghanistan.

He tried to relate to people.
But failed miserably.

It’s disgraceful beyond words the way he responded to this crisis. I hope the people of Hawaii are now wide awake to what kind of man he is.

He could’ve been late to work the next day guys.
It’s serious— Camila (@Camila_only03) August 25, 2023
His callous attitude to the loss of lives, homes, livelihoods and the trauma that these people are suffering is beyond belief. My thoughts are with the people of Lahaina.
