‘He f***ed up before he even launched’: Megyn Kelly rubs salt in wound when Don Lemon gets axed AGAIN

Fired CNN anchor Don Lemon was fired once again this week when Elon Musk reportedly canceled his new show on X before it ever launched, and Megyn Kelly engaged in a healthy dose of schadenfreude over his latest misfortune.

Lemon interviewed Musk on what would have been his first show, and it did not go well. A clip of one exchange made the rounds online, and if anything, it proved that Lemon is still the same boring, race-baiting, left-wing ideologue he was on CNN.

“It’s very hard for Don Lemon to keep a job — and we know why,” Kelly said. “Amazingly, Elon Musk offered him a deal to post a new show on X, and Elon Musk is a risk taker so I guess he thought this would be a fun risk. Just as risky, I guess, as like putting spaceships into outer space because it really was just that risky, Elon.”

After pointing to some good advice from former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly regarding Lemon, which was to never interview your boss, Kelly didn’t mince words.

“Don Lemon behaved like an *sshole who was not grateful to Elon Musk for resurrecting his career,” she said.

“It’s very hard for Don Lemon in his position to both be a good journalist and be a good employee,” she explained. “You know, the man’s paying your salary, so you do owe him a level of respect and discretion, and at the same time you want to prove to us in your first interview back how hard-hitting you are, and those two goals are not aligned. So I don’t blame Elon for being mad at the way he was treated, which now Don is admitting it didn’t end well and Elon was pissed off when it ended.”

A little gratitude goes a long way.

“The man that just resurrected your career. Show some gratitude!” Kelly continued. “Ask him about how amazing X is doing and how it’s thriving — notwithstanding all the doomsday predictions — and whatever happened to loser Threads over on Facebook. Elon’s having a moment, but not in Don’s life and in his world, even though he just got this great opportunity.”

According to Kelly, Lemon “f*cked up” a multi-million dollar deal.

“By the way, reportedly, he just got like a $25 million payoff from CNN for that firing… then Elon reportedly cut him a multi-million dollar deal, which he f*cked up right before he even launched the show,” she said. “And now he’s claiming that his free speech – you’re not the victim! You’re not the victim! You’re not a victim in any way.”

Either way, Lemon expects to be paid, saying that he agreed to join X after Musk publicly encouraged him to do so.

“Don has a deal with X and expects to be paid for it. If we have to go to court we will,” his spokesperson, Allison Gollust, said in a statement.
