Hollywood producer and director Adam McKay once again ripped into the Democrat Party during a podcast interview this week.
Appearing on the “Urgent Futures” podcast this week, McKay tripled down on his recent anti-Democrat animus.
“It is incredible to watch people this far down the road still say you gotta stand behind the Democrat Party,” he said. “The same party that wouldn’t convict Trump of a crime after he told a crowd, ‘Go to the Capitol.’ The same party where the previous presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton, literally funded Trump’s campaign.”

He continued by accusing Democrats of being adept at “manipulative marketing.” He also claimed to be able to name “400” ways that Democrats have wronged Americans, including by keeping “healthcare private.”
“We are being hit with the high-grade marketing, and no group is worse than white liberals,” he asserted. “I mean, they are the worst. I’ve tried to talk to them about climate, they are so smug and captured. And it boils down to privilege. I mean, when you talk to white moneyed liberals, they’re getting a lot from this broken system.”
He further revealed that something else that drove him away from the Democrats was Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass’ lack of concern about wildfires like the Palisades Fire.
“So the trick with the LA fires — they were completely predictable,” he said. “We were already seeing them in Maui, Lahaina. There were like six other examples of climate-fueled windblown fires that were feeding off of climate-fueled droughts.”
The fires were predictable, though not for the “climate change” reasons cited by McKay.
WHY THE CA GOVERNOR AND LA MAYOR SHOULD GET YOUR ATTENTION
The Pacific Palisades Fire wasn’t just a “natural disaster.” It was a preventable catastrophe made worse by catastrophic leadership failures from LA Mayor Karen Bass and Governor Gavin Newsom.

“So six months before those fires, me, like some schmo who makes movies, I had a buddy who was hosting fundraisers for our mayor Karen Bass, and I emailed him, and I was like, hey man, are they talking about the threat of windblown fires?” McKay continued.
“And my friend was like, well, I’ve never heard them bring it up, and I was like, it’s not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when it’s going to happen. And around that time, Bass and the city council signed off on a budget that cut the firefighting allocation of funds radically,” he added.
Also true.
Karen Bass doesn’t want you to see this
Los Angeles Fire department confirmed there is no water during the Pacific Palisades fire and residents knew it was Karen Bass

McKay, an anti-Trump leftist, initially ripped into the Democrat Party late on Election Day 2024, tearing into them for their electoral strategy.
“Who would have guessed lying about Biden’s cognitive health for 2 yrs, refusing to do an open convention for a new nominee, never mentioning public healthcare & embracing fracking, the Cheneys & a yr long slaughter of children in Gaza wouldn’t be a winning strategy?” he wrote in a since-deleted tweet, according to Variety magazine.
“Anyone with half a brain? But I thought liberals’ whole thing is being smart? It’s not? They actually just blindly cheer the parade of rickety optics wrapped up in New York Times fonts that is the modern Dem Party? At least it’s time for the dusty hacks & careerists to spread their feathers wide post election and blame Russia and third party candidates. That should fix things.”
After President Donald Trump won the 2024 presidential election, he doubled down.
“It is time to abandon the Dem Party,” he wrote in another since-deleted tweet. “I’m registering Green Party or Working Families. But am open to ideas.”
McKay is best known for directing a slew of hot comedies, including but not limited to “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy,” “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby,” and “Step Brothers.”
He’s also known for producing films such as “Daddy’s Home,” “The Boss,” “Hustlers,” and “The Menu.”
