Secretary of War Pete Hegseth delivered some great news and is giving President Trump the credit.
While briefing Trump about skyrocketing military recruitment, he said the reenlistment numbers for the Marines “already met its year-long goal” for 2026 – in just two weeks!
He praised the commander-in-chief for the rise of morale within military ranks.
“There’s no other way to create that kind of love and enthusiasm without your leadership, sir,” Hegseth said.

For once, our military is defending our own borders instead of other countries’. And they are rightly thrilled about it.

I served under Reagan, Clinton, and Bush, and from first hand experience, the Commander in Chief sets the tone. Under Reagan, morale was great. Under Clinton, not so much. Under Bush, meh. I’m 65, and under Trump and Hegseth, I’d sign up again right now if they’d let me.

Pete is humble.. He, himself created a lot of excitement. Another right person in the right job!
