A Pennsylvania woman has been charged with sending text messages to her estranged boyfriend that were so “heinous and graphic” that he committed suicide.
“Mandie Reusch, 35, of Greensburg, Westmoreland County, is charged with aiding suicide and harassment, according to a statement issued by Westmoreland County District Attorney Nicole Ziccarelli,” The Patriot-News reported Tuesday.
“Online court records show that Reusch failed to post $150,000 bail following her arraignment on Tuesday and was remanded to the Westmoreland County Prison. She has a preliminary hearing scheduled for June 27,” the paper added.
Reusch used to be the girlfriend and baby mother of Kevin Metzger, 37, an Army veteran who died by suicide on June 18th, 2021.
When the authorities found his body, they also discovered “a letter and Facebook posts sharing the frequently profane [text] messages from Reusch, who [had] repeatedly urged Metzger to kill himself and threatened to keep his child away from him.”
Published exclusively by the Daily Mail this Thursday, the WhatsApp text messages are extremely disturbing to read.

In one text message, she reportedly described sex with other men. In another, she included a video clip of herself performing oral sex on another man. And yet in another, she berated Metzger, saying he was “ugly, bald and had rotten teeth.”
“Police said the messages for which she was indicted were among the ‘most extreme’ examples of bullying they had ever seen,” according to the Daily Mail.
The messages reportedly began on May 5th, roughly a month before Metzger committed suicide.
Sent at 2:49 am that morning, in the first text Reusch said that their daughter would henceforth be referring to her new boyfriend as “dad.”
She also taunted Metzger, telling him that he would never see his daughter again and that her kids “will be literally better of with any role model other than you.”
“From now on we are [her new boyfriend’s surname] and you do not exist. [He] is her dad now. Not you. Don’t ever ask about her again. She isn’t your daughter. You’ll never hear about her again either,” she wrote.
But it gets worse.
“She will call [him] ‘dad’ because he’s a way better dad than you. Kill yourself. I mean it… I actually want you to kill yourself because I think you are the worst person on this planet,” Reusch wrote in one text.
“I hope for [their daughter’s] sake that you do kill yourself. She would be better off not even knowing you,” she added in another.

In additional texts published by the Daily Mail, Reusch first accused Metzger of killing their dog, Zoe, and then vowed to shred a book containing photos of Zoe, claimed that Zoe hated him, and promised to have sex with her new boyfriend on top of the book.
“That dog f–king hated you and ran away every chance she could. Just like I ran away to suck anyone else’s d–k but yours because you’re literally the worst person I’ve ever met in my life,” she wrote.
According to the Daily Mail, in other texts, Reusch accused Metzger of being a “woman beater” and “abusive.”
“I wanted you to be normal and romantic one time. I wanted you to come to an agreement and follow it. It wasn’t my fault that we didn’t work. But damn am I going to get closure from you turning out to be the abusive f–khead that you are,” she wrote in one text message.
Yet there’s no record of her ever calling the cops on him, though there is a record of the reverse.
“Reusch was warned to stop sending the messages to Metzger after he complained to the Irwin Police. She was charged with harassment on June 3, 2021, but the charges were dropped following Metzger’s death 15 days later,” The Daily Beast notes.

A friend of Metzger’s showed the Daily Mail a Facebook post in which he, Metzger, had written that Reusch was trying “to get me to kill myself for the money.”
The same friend accused Reusch of tormenting Metzger.
“Kevin just wanted to be a present dad and she tormented him for years,” the friend said.
A friend is also responsible for the police finding the deceased Army veteran’s body.
“Two days before Father’s Day in June 2021, a friend of Metzger’s told police they had been unable to contact him and asked them to conduct a welfare check. It was then that state police found his body,” according to The Daily Beast.
An obituary for Metzger notes that he served in the Army for 20 years before leaving with an honorable discharge. He then enlisted in the Army Reserve.
The obituary says he “passionately cared for his daughter,” “was a devoted father,” and that “she was an extreme light in his life.”
