Hemingway on targeting of Trump: ‘It’s reasonable to be worried about what their next step is’

Former President Donald J. Trump may have narrowly avoided being killed during an assassination attempt but the left appears determined to eliminate him as a political threat and isn’t going to stop.

Two weeks ago, the GOP nominee came perilously close to having his head blown off by a sniper who was allowed a clear line of sight by the Secret Service at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, an inexplicable failure that many believe was not merely a coincidence.

With the election just over three months away, “it is reasonable to be worried about what their next step is,” according to Fox News contributor Mollie Hemingway.

“They tried to coup him, impeach him, remove him from the ballot, they ran show trials against him, tried to bankrupt him and his family, put him in prison, and assassinate him. They’re OBVIOUSLY not done, and it is reasonable to be worried about what their next step is,” Hemingway wrote in response to a post shared on X by “accidental journalist” Nick Sortor.

“I know these people aren’t done, and wondering ‘what’s next?’ is weighing on me heavily. Anybody else feeling the same?” Sortor posted.

The near miss hasn’t deterred Democrats and their media mouthpieces who haven’t dialed down their incendiary rhetoric likening Trump to Hitler and ridiculously claiming that he will end “our democracy” if not stopped, so they are still offering fodder that could motivate some unstable individual to take a shot at him, perhaps more than one.

If anything, the demonization of the former and perhaps future president is only going to get worse now that VP Kamala Harris has been elevated to the top of the Democrat ticket after a successful coup against Biden and the racial arsonists are already busily fanning the flames.

The immediate unification behind Harris with the media serving as her de facto public relations machine shows that the very brief period of fair coverage was only an illusion to shove Biden out the door after the entire country saw the “real McCoy” at the CNN debate and with his veep of color, the entire system is going all-in on the cancerous identity politics of the Democratic party.

Glowing coverage of the already coronated Harris along with a boatload of dubious new polls showing that she has erased Biden’s deficit in a matter of days set the stage for a plausible attempt to cook the votes in the battleground states where Democrats control the political machines in big cities like Philadelphia, Detroit and Atlanta.

But Trump has to make it to the election first and that’s not a given considering that he was already nearly assassinated and his announcement that he was rejecting the Secret Service’s advice that he not hold outdoor rallies could provide another opportunity for a JFK-like solution to be implemented.

There is also the matter of his sentencing in the bogus Stormy Daniels “hush money” case which while delayed, is still set for September when a New York judge who has already shown he is hostile to Trump, could send him to prison where his safety may not be guaranteed.

Hemingway’s confirmation is valid because they are determined to stop Trump from returning to the White House by any means necessary.
