Here we go! Hawaii to ‘shakedown’ tourists with first U.S. ‘climate’ tax

And so, it begins.

Democrat Hawaii Governor Josh Green, signed off on the first climate change tax in the U.S.

The “green fee” will take effect in January and will be impose a .75% tax on tourists staying in hotels and short-term rentals, X account Shadow of Ezra reported.

Cruise ship passengers will also be subject to the tax that will be based on how long the ship is docked.

The climate tax wasn’t well received by many who smelled an obvious Democrat grift, and calls for a boycott of the state began:
