Hero Barron Trump saved woman’s life, called police as she was being beaten by jealous ex – report

Presidential son Barron Trump “saved” a woman’s life by notifying police after seeing her being beaten by her ex-boyfriend when she called him on FaceTime during the assault.

The UK-based outlet Metro reported that the unnamed woman told a London court that President Donald J. Trump’s youngest son spared her from being beaten to death by the former beau, a man who was jealous about her relationship with the young Trump and “flew into a rage” after she had tried to call him earlier, prosecutors said.

Police responded in time to rescue the woman from 22-year-old Matvei Rumianstev, a Russian former MMA fighter from East London with a history of assaulting her, including strangling and rape, according to the outlet.

“I just got a call from a girl I know. She’s getting beaten up,” Trump told emergency dispatchers during the call, prompting police to respond to the scene at around 2 a.m. on January 18, 2025.

“It’s really an emergency, please. I got a call from her with a guy beating her up,” he said after giving the operators the woman’s address.

After police arrived at the scene, the victim told the cops that “I’m friends with Barron Trump – Donald Trump’s son.” Bodycam footage showed her telling police that someone in the United States had called.

“So, apparently this informant from America is likely to be Donald Trump’s son,” an officer told a colleague. “This female is friends with Donald Trump’s son. She was on a FaceTime with him when this assault happened, and he’s called us.”

A recording of the dramatic life-saving phone call was heard by jurors at Snaresbrook Crown Court, Metro reported.

When police asked her to call him to confirm, the woman is heard saying, “Hello, Barron – did you call the police or anything?”

“I had someone call the police,” the president’s son replied, telling officers, “She called me. I picked up the phone expecting a nice hello or something.”

“I just saw a ceiling and could hear screaming. I could see a guy’s head on the phone, and then the camera turns to her crying and getting hit,” Trump said, according to the outlet. “I called you guys – that was the best thing I could do. I wasn’t going to call back and threaten things to him because that would just make the situation worse.”

The woman claims that Rumianstev became enraged after Trump’s earlier call, calling her a “slut and a whore” and kicking her in the stomach when she was on the floor, Metro reported. She later told police that her violent ex had raped her twice, including hours before the attack that prompted the distress call.

At one point during the call, young Trump was accused of being “rude” by the operator, even though he was trying to report a crime in progress, according to a transcript of the call.

Operator: Okay how do you know her?

Barron: I don’t think these details matter she’s getting beat up but okay fine, also I met her on social media, I don’t think that matters.

Operator: You know I can…

Barron: She’s getting beat up!

Operator: Can you stop being rude and actually answer my questions. If you want to help the person, you’ll answer my questions clearly and precisely, thank you. So how do you know her?

Barron: I met her on social media.

The woman testified that Trump “helped save my life. That call was like a sign from God at that moment.”
