He’s TOAST! Reporter tells ‘drunk’ Eric Swalwell he secretly recorded 90 min of his loose lips from table next to him

A California congressman had a new reason to look “absolutely TERRIFIED” after a journalist revealed he’d recorded allegedly loose lips lubricated by lobbyists.

“…I have about an hour and a half of audio to go through.”

In January 2023, then-House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R) booted fellow Golden State Rep. Eric Swalwell (D) off the House Intelligence Committee over his alleged relationship with Chinese spy, Christine Fang, otherwise known as Fang Fang. After recently appearing panicked over the accomplishments of President Donald Trump’s administration, Swalwell had a new reason to worry after Nick Sortor claimed to have captured a chat compromised by drunkenness.

Sharing a video of his confrontation with the lawmaker after the meal, the journalist could be heard asking, “Elon Musk is a national security threat but you sleeping with a Chinese spy is not, is that correct?”

The caption spoke to some of the supposed salacious details from earlier as Sortor wrote, “I sat next to a drunk Swalwell at dinner for 90 minutes. He was IMMEDIATELY compromised by a group of lobbyists he’d JUST MET, spilling intimate details about his job and asking for HELP CHEATING ON HIS WIFE.”

“Swalwell spent his dinner bragging about ‘ORGIES’ on Capitol Hill, telling them he’s bored of his wife and ‘only wants to f*ck tens,” continued the journalist who called for the legislator’s security clearances to be revoked. “Worse, he spoke about ABUSING his power on the House Intel Committee (which he’s since been booted off of), saying he pushed to SUBPOENA Ivanka Trump because she’s ‘hot as f*ck’…Dude looked absolutely TERRIFIED and 100% guilty. He knows he’s been caught.”

Prior to posting the video and calling on House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) to boot Swalwell from the Homeland Security Committee, Sortor posted to X, “Hi @RepSwalwell! I know you have me blocked, but I wanted to thank you for the ‘lovely’ chat we just had at dinner! You’ll see a video recap tomorrow here on X! Regards, The man whose table you invaded while you were inebriated at dinner…PS: Tell Fang Fang I said hi!”

Department of Government Efficiency head Elon Musk reacted to the video with the comment, “Truth is stranger than fiction.”

In response, Sortor, who credited Laura Loomer for an investigative role, shared an image from his time observing the congressman that revealed how close he’d been and said, “I’ll be forwarding the 90 [minutes] of recordings on to Speaker Johnson’s office. All it takes is a couple drinks and Swalwell spills EVERYTHING. Why should someone like that be on the Homeland Security Committee? He shouldn’t even be in Congress!”

Hours later, he went on to add, “It’s beyond unethical for a sitting Congressman on the Homeland Security Committee to go get absolutely plastered with lobbyists he’s never met before. Especially given he sings like a bird to them. Swalwell cannot be trusted.”

“The guy was screaming. It’s like, everybody in the restaurant was able to hear what he was saying and he didn’t care,” Sortor expressed on the “Timcast IRL” podcast.

As reactions poured in on the video that has since been viewed nearly 18 million times, the journalist teased the audio and said on X, “Ohhhhh stay tuned…”
