Hillary Clinton RETURNS – rare White House news!

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has reportedly made plans to attend a White House event next week despite first lady Jill Biden’s latest health announcement.

Clinton and Mrs. Biden were both slated to appear at an event on Tuesday to honor international art award winners, but those plans have been thrown for a loop with the first lady coming down with COVID.

According to NBC News, a source with knowledge of the plans said that if the first lady could not attend, Clinton would still take part and the plans could move forward. If this is the case, it will be the first time Clinton has appeared at an event during President Joe Biden’s administration. However, she has met privately with the likes of Vice President Kamala Harris and has spoken to Biden himself on the phone, though it’s unknown if the two have met face-to-face. Clinton also attended a dinner to honor the former German Chancellor Angela Merkel where the Bidens were present, and her husband former President Bill Clinton did have lunch with the president last year.

Biden is expected to be overseas until Monday, and it is unknown whether he will have any time to meet with Clinton during or after the event.

According to the art organization’s website, “the names of the 34th Praemium Imperiale Laureates will be announced in Washington DC, London, Paris, Rome, Berlin and Tokyo. The Grant for Young Artists will be also announced at the press conference in Washington DC, presided over by International Advisor, Hillary Rodham Clinton, and followed by the presentation of the grant.”

The first lady is continuing to experience minor symptoms as of Wednesday, according to her office.

On Tuesday, American Wire reported the first lady, despite being “double-vaccinated, twice-boosted” had tested positive for COVID-19. In a statement from her office, it was revealed that she was remaining at the Biden home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware as the president continued his duties. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre followed up with a statement about the president’s health.

“Following the First Lady’s positive test for COVID-19, President Biden was administered a COVID test this evening. The President tested negative. The President will test at a regular cadence this week and monitor for symptoms,” it read.

The news comes as many places are revisiting masking policies and restrictions following a reported spike in COVID cases.
