Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is being mocked on social media for her take on President Donald Trump’s speech.
On Friday, Clinton mocked what she characterized as a “rant” on election security by the president, and jabbed at him for losing the election in 2020. What she failed to realize was that turning off the replies to the post wasn’t going to stop people who had long memories from pointing out her hypocrisy.
Look:
Trump’s embarrassing rant last night about an election he lost six years ago made two things very clear:
1. He’s not focused on making life better for Americans. Not even close.
2. We should act now to counteract any efforts to undermine our elections. https://t.co/L63hCChOn6

Perhaps she forgot her own election security concerns?

In 2022, BizPac Review reported that even a large majority of Democrats wanted Clinton probed for her role in the Russiagate scandal that sucked up tax dollars, resources and headlines to ultimately be unable to produce any evidence of collusion between President Donald Trump and Russia, despite all efforts to manufacture evidence.
“The survey polled 1,308 Americans in January concerning the investigation by Special Counsel John Durham into Clinton’s alleged efforts to manufacture dirt against former President Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign, the New York Post reported,” BPR explained. “Nearly three out of four of those polled on the explosive investigation believe it is important that prosecutors look into Clinton’s actions in connection to Russiagate. That includes 66 percent of Democrats who have been following the investigation. That number is up 20 points from last October which is very bad news for Clinton’s aspirations of running for the presidency again.”
X users weighed in on Clinton’s take:

Hillary: These rants about an election someone lost years ago really are embarrassing.

This is the tell.
If someone wants to hear what was shared last night and conclude it didn’t directly affect the outcome, okay.
But if you’re someone insisting this isn’t worth talking about and shouldn’t lead to consequences?
That’s giving the game away. https://t.co/75uEXpeOYh
