Actress and musician Joy Villa is once again stealing the spotlight for comments she made during the Grammys.
Having previously gone mega-viral for her “Make America Great Again” dress, Villa is back and working to dismantle the negative perception of President Donald Trump’s deportation actions. Walking the red carpet at the 2025 Grammys, she was interviewed by The Hollywood Reporter and explained her reason for supporting Trump’s bold anti-illegal immigrant stance.
Watch:
HOLY MOLY!!! Joy Villa just stunned everyone at the Grammy’s talking about President Trump’s deportations. Selena Gomez should cover her ears.

“I think the ones that should be deported are being deported, to be honest,” the clip begins. “I’m a Latina. My family came from this country- to this country legally, and I love to see rapists, human traffickers, deported. I don’t want to see them here. I want us to be free for all colors, for all people.”
“Like, that’s what makes America great again,” Villa continued. “So we can create, so we can live. Like, as an artist, as a musician, I want to be able to walk at night and not think that I’m gonna get killed by an illegal alien. And so those are the people getting deported and those are the people who should get deported.”
Regardless of whether Hollywood agrees with her sentiments, Villa found plenty of support among X users:
Good for her standing her ground like that
